It's hard for me to see a 7-year-old having the knowledge or the strength to kill an adult male with a knife. There has to be more behind the story. Or is this just a lucky hit on the jugular?

Genius justice system at work... not.... a 7 year old is employed and not employer of violence.
I find it "funny" that this follows the abortion mantra, portraying kids as threats. When it is power hungry politicians, feminists and authorities who drive power struggle and employment of murder to effect change.
Nothing good will come out of these policies in this country.

Robert Hare ("Without Conscience") notes that psychopaths are born and not made and that it's vey obvious at a very early age....
They're charging the mother with leaving the 4-year-old in the care of the seven year old given that the seven year old had assaulted the younger boy with a hot iron two years ago.
Authorities probably ought to run the checklist for psychopathy on the older boy and if he fits the pattern, put him in a cage until either they find a cure for psychopaths or he dies of old age.

...Robert E. Sanders, who had been living with the boy's mother, Teresa Sanders... Not married but same last name??
