The family of a Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.

" Hillary Kankles Clinton."
I think you meant "Skankles".
There's no low for these dummycrats to test...why people vote for these self serving idiots is beyond me!
I'll lay odds the pukes over at the DUmpster are proud of this POS!
After all this is what they want for Pres in '08
What do you mean now? They've been at it a while. The most notable funeral crash was when the Slickster invited himself to Cardinal O'Connor's funeral.
I expect nothing less from a state where boorishness is a state funded activity. Up until recently, I thought our particular corner of the state was just about as sane as Pennsylvania could be. After the recent pay raise fiasco, and the so-called "Conservatives" who backed it, I'm not certain of that belief, any longer.
Toomey, Santorium, and others better start condemning this person quickly. If not, there needs to be hell to pay for Republicans who remain silent.
Asked to comment on Goodrich's complaints about Knoll's conduct at the funeral, the aide said that "would be inappropriate."
This explains the mindset of the left doesn't it. It was not inappropriate to "crash" a hero's funeral, but it would be to comment on his/her boss' lack of intelligence and compassion. Go figure!
I sincerely hope they keep this crap up. They are insuring we have seen the last of this kind of trash getting voted into office. This b.....ch needs to be tarred and feathered and road outa town on a rail. Alas, I pine for the good 'ol days when we truly could let a political hack know exactly how we felt about them. I have read it is extremely painful to remove all of the feathers after one gets the "treatment"......LOL
This classless woman is trying to outdo Maddie Albright.......she's wearing TWO pins...tacky too.

Born in Pittsburgh, educated at Duquesne University, Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Lt. Gov. Knoll served eight distinguished years as State Treasurer of Pennsylvania.
As treasurer, she implemented and maintained the highest standards of accountability and integrity. She also kept Pennsylvania ahead of the technology curve by building a High Tech Investment Center that saved Pennsylvania hundreds of millions of dollars through increased efficiency and returned nearly two billion dollars in interest.
Her credentials include accomplishments in finance, transportation, housing, education, environmental work, human rights, small business development and urban and rural revitalization efforts.
Prior to holding public office, she was a schoolteacher and a businesswoman. Lt. Gov. Knoll has contributed to her community through her longstanding involvement with the YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, Mom's House, the NAACP, Elder Care, Inc., and the Pennsylvania Nature Conservancy.

HARRISBURG -- A guessing game is going on within Capitol corridors: Who will be Gov. Ed Rendell's Democratic running mate when he seeks re-election in 2006.
This is strange, because Rendell already has a running mate, Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll, the pride of McKees Rocks, a former two-term state treasurer and a veteran of decades of political battles. She insists she likes being No. 2 and wants to keep the job for another four years.
Nonetheless, some well-known political names continue to be mentioned as possible challengers to Knoll in a May 2006 Democratic primary:

Well said! :-)
Unless, of course, it's "insurgents" or "freedom fighters", then they totally understand because it's all our fault (and Bush's).
Actually, judging from her picture, several bumps on her face might improve her appearance!

Thanks ... I just emailed this one out
I'll send suitcases to DC to help them pack.
I dont see the governor expressing outrage at her behavior. Why not fill the gov's box too?
"she's trying to outdo MA,she's wearing 2 pins, tacky too"I'll second that opinion.I heard MA was a war orphan sent to the US prior to WW2(rumor?).Maybe they're related.
