My oldest niece had a triple bypass within the last couple of days at Texas Heart Institute (Houston or St. Luke's Episcopal or whichever name you wish to use).
It is now necessary that she await a donor heart and will undergo a heart transplant.
When I heard this I was in shock, as I did not know that transplants were used anymore (excuse my ignorance).
My entire family asks for the prayers of each of you for Judy. Her Dad, my brother Dan, entered eternity two years ago this last July 14th.
We are reeling with the news of Judy's need and ask that you join us in prayer and help us fight off this feeling of helplessness. Her husband John, and her children will feel the comfort of your prayers as well.
I cannot spend much time online, as my phone company stated last week that my online account (on a separate line from the house) is "rolling over" to an unacceptable prefix for which they intend to charge me as an improper usage of a residential phone ... and which will cost me about 18 cents a minute.
Prayers for your niece, AKA Elena. But I must share with you the fact that TX Heart Institute is simply the BEST medical team in the world, IMHO.
I cannot tell you how impressive all those doctors are. They saved my husband (bypass), and were first class all the way! His doctor, David Ott, is a genius, and he's just one of an outstanding team! (http://www.texheartsurgeons.com/Dottbio.htm)
Your niece couldn't be in better hands.

I hope this one works!
Father Lord we pray for the successful surgery for this lady and that you will heal her quickly. In the name of Jesus, amen.
Thanks so much for your encouraging words, Humidston! My prayers for you in thanks for your husband's successful surgery (no matter how long ago it was)>
Prayers for Judy, and for your family.
I join in urgent, earnest prayer for Judy and all the family!
I know how you feel. My close friend (mom's cousin) passed away recently after a long battle with cancer. She was 52, never smoked, was active and ate healthy foods. I've had nonstop company since her death, but only now is it really hitting me how much I miss this kind, loving soul. If your neice doesn't make it, it's because God loves her and wants her with Him.
Prayers on the way.
Agreeing with you in prayer for Judy.
Prayers sent!
Carolyn
P.S. Even the most rural areas have cheap dialup with local access. They may not be as fast as you would like but they serve the purpose until something better comes along. I'm on Walmart Connect -- $9.95 a month and local dialup.
Praying here! May the Lord keep your family wrapped tightly in His arms.
