Is she one of the "Gang of Seven"? On what planet would Barbara Boxer be considered a "moderate"? If she is not part of the signitories to the deal, she has no standing to say what they meant when they said "extraordinary".

The DUmmies have been saying all along that any USSC nomination is "extraordinary". I guess we know where Babs surfs in her spare time.

It really doesn't matter what babs has to say. If any of the gang of 14 said it then it would be of import but as long as the 7 dimocrats support cloture there cannot be a fillibuster.

Ah... I guess Schumer was busy. He had Boxer do the dirty work.

Her Senate seat is the safest in the country; so getting hysterically bitchy is one of her perks.

I think that this is the end of the line for the Democrats obstruction. I think the President will be leaning VERY HARD. I think that the Rove situation has people in the White House FUMING MAD. There will be little tolerance for the Democrats usual song and dance. This one gets rammed through.

Why do you think Frist would not pull the trigger? He was going to month before last until the gang of 7 sold him out. What are you talking about?

If Frist "pulls the trigger" then maybe I will resume contributing to the Republican Party.

Are there any other DINOs that were not part of the Gang of 14?

What happens if the vote is, say, 59-35 with 6 not voting? That is over 60%, can the filibuster be stopped on that?

If they are going to filibuster, then we are going to use the nucular option, and that means that we're going to go back and resurrect Saad's nomination, which was quashed by the McCain insurrection.
