TICK TOCK...............
Bring soap and lysol!
Only if they each have to do a big song and dance number along with it. Something really big and showy like "The Cell Block Tango" from Chicago ("He had it comin', he only has himself to blame...") or "America" from West Side Story. ;-)
since none of the networks will pick up Miss America, it's the best they can do.
j/k. I like what I see out of Mrs. Clement.
This is our one chance to 'make it right again'....
...I still trust the President...and pray he will do the right thing.
I truly hope those of us who support life are not disappointed.
What does it say? I am not follwoing you, sorry. We don't even know if she is the pick.
BTW..just remembered that the new show, from the AI producers.."So you think you can Dance?' starts tomorrow..Are we gonna do a live thread?
He's a legal expert.

No, it could end on one ruling if five Scalia-like originalists are appointed. And, it should it that way.

"A pro-abortion choice like Edith Clement is going to make Planned Parenthood and NARAL happy. :("
This is just so over-the-top. Are you choosing to ignore the opinions of many well-respected FReepers here?
you're right..I remember that..for which he was driven out of the Beltway...
Thank you and you are correct! :)
Hogwash. He promised another jurist like Scalia and Thomas. She's something else.
That would be fun! After the first show, we should be able to determine if it is thread worthy in the future. An introductory thread would be fun for critical analysis purposes.
You are right---what was I thinking?
Maybe 5000? Nah...
That looked like a prediction, not a threat. Of course none of us are in a position to make or carry out that threat anyway!
I'm still trusting Bush, but I can't help worrying.
She meant that, as an judge in an "inferior tribunal" (the Constitution's term for lower federal courts), she is bound by that (and every other) Supreme Court precedent. But that does not mean that she would feel compelled to uphold Roe when an abortion case comes up to the Supreme Court.
