I was worried, though I didn't predict he'd let us down exactly...I don't feel stupid now, but I DO feel very, very grateful.
Have enjoyed your posts on this subject over the last few days :).
Edith Jones for CJ? Michael Luttig?

John Roberts!! Woo Hoo!! Let's break out a bottle and celebrate. I love our President. He came through for us.
To: Pukin Dog
Actually, Robert's law partner posted on another site that he believes Roberts will not vote to overturn Roe.
I think I will wait to see whether "we" have been let down.

Hello,
It is a pretty funny age, isn't it? My son will be 8 in Oct. and today I had four boys here between 7-8. (don't worry, I believe that I will survive, as I am now down to 2. Scratch that, another one just showed up...)
Yes, I can just imagine the laughter at the WH today!
Glad to be here, MOgirl

I imagine that among those groups, it'd be easy to find a few people who would talk. Perhaps but they had been fairly silent until now.
From what I have heard, he is a good choice.

Mr. Roberts is a member of two prominent, right-wing legal groups that promote a pro-corporate, anti-regulatory agenda: the Federalist Society and the National Legal Center For The Public Interest, serving on the latter group's Legal Advisory Council. He sounds quilified to me. lol!

This is a great pick. I didn't think he had a chance - too "new" - but it really is a brilliant move.
