TICK TOCK...............
I don't think Stevens can last that long.
-----
I sure hope not. Wouldn't that be delicious to have Bush chose 3 and the new Chief? Luttig, Miguel Estrada, Brown, Owen... lots of good choices.
As stated I just hope his choices are (1) Young, (2) in good health and (3) will stay on the bench until old age. LOL
I think Bush made his pick four years ago...LOL
True dat. They live for it!
I've got to drop off a job application. I'll be back on this thread soon.
Geez. At least step up to black label.
Bush Light?!?!?!?
True, but all I said was that I don't know their exact medical situation. Stevens might try to hang on like William O. Douglas or El Cid. I do hope the President gets to replace one or both (although I really don't wish death on anyone). The prospect of someone like Hillary appointing their replacements is rather frightening.
Some reporter at the capitol on MSNBC said he spoke to Frist a couple of hours ago, and that Frist said he has no inclination of who the nominee is.
There is a great deal of dissent--and becoming more and more. But the majority of what I read is still cheering section stuff.
You think the president is sitting in his office, reading the internet, changing his mind because of something some chair jockey says?
Do you even understand how this process works?
He did.
It's good, but mainly cheap. We drink A LOT of beer around here.
It's obvious now, in hindsight, he's sending out different names, probably picking up phone line and email reactions, etc.
That's all I wanted you to admit. Thanks.
Someone will be right along to tell you Frist is lying. :-)
If President Bush doesn't nominate Larry Klayman I am not sure I can continue supporting him or the republican party on a national level. It is likely I will have to switch to and only vote for Constitution Party candidates. And if there are non on my ballot, well then damnit, I am staying home and not voting.
After the past few weeks, I think Bush is having a little fun with the MSM...we'll see in a few hours...
I have no doubt.
"Him!"
"No, him!"
"Her."
"No, dang it, now her!"
"Oh, people at FR are upset, get me another nominee!"
FYI..Dona Brazile on CNN looks/sounds like she just swallowed a bottle of castor oil..NOT a happy camper..
