A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.

You'd Never Believe...

why this is not a super-duper-wonderful-knock-your-socks-off thread...
and instead a let's-see-what-we-can-throw-together-quickly effort.
But here are some possibilies

1.Oliver had 24 kittens.
2. The FBI confiscated my computer.
3. Hurrican Dennis took off our roof.
4. Woolfie and I had a mad 4 day get-away
5. I had heart,lung, liver, brain transplant over weekend.
6. I was out of state getting art lessons from Billie.
7. As I was kayaking on the Euphrates River I decided to visit w/troops a few days
8. My HTML went on pity-party strike for user abuse.
9. I went flying with Dutchess to California to see Just Amy & Mama_bear.
10. Diver Dave, Scubachick and I went to the Bahamas to check out the water and hurricanes.
11. I went to help Gabz following her foot surgery.
12.Snugs needed help in England with her dad.
13. Aquamarine needed some help sorting out her geodes.
14. I stuck my foot in my mouth(again) & needed to have surgical removal.
15. I joined Lance/crew for the most recent stage of the Tour de France..

Well, whatever the reason.. ..
HERE WE BE!!!! ..

And we will “be” for 3 days on this one thread. So post fun things, words of wisdom & use this for a three day HTML sandbox - think billie will be around to help ...but a few will be traveling.

And to use this time to wish a happy birthday to my DEAR son Jeff who turned 33 yesterday. His bride of 10+ years Shannon has a birthday today. Here they are with their two children at Stan Hywet last summer.

life is surely busy isn't it everyone?. I posted the pix before it was done.(should have removed guy/gal comment). I had originally a pix of navy seals & a few babes. Decided to keep it a little less racy!!!

I have company coming tonight & leaving Friday PM. Amy & Lori are coming Saturday. Monday I have a cousin stopping in for day or so.

Okay everyone - Let me share one of my tools...Here is the Font Colorizer link that I use. (FREE)It is fast to download (even with modem) . Keep in mind when chosing font to use. billie has told me something I did not know. If you select a slick font, it will not show up if that person does not have it on their computer. That is why I often put words on pix (chose my exotic fonts) and save teh pix to server.

I get lazy & use it more than I should. Quicker than typing all the commands.

It's a bit of simple one. I find that the more I do the easier ones, it makes the tougher ones more understandable and I can start to pick out where I made a mistake.

I love what you wrote. I also like how you can frame the picture inside the frame. I like the way you can add the roses on the bottom and stars on top. I can't get that yet.
