The Morning Call
Speaking to the nations' largest Hispanic civil rights organization, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., received a standing ovation Monday when she vowed her support for legislation that would allow illegal immigrant high school students to attend college.
Clinton made her remarks on various issues of importance to the country's Latinos at the annual conference of National Council of La Raza, attended by 23,000 people at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
The event started Friday and has included a rally in center Philadelphia in support of the so-called DREAM Act that would benefit illegal students.
On Tuesday, the chairpersons of both the Republican and Democratic national committees are schedule to address the conference, which NCLR officials say is a first for the organization and a sign that both parties have heightened their interest in the growing Latino population and its votes.

Huh---I thought Hillary was supposed to go the the "right" of President Bush.... You'd think that by reading Free Republic. Many of the Tancredoites also think Hillary is the next best thing since they know Tancredo can't win.

"Isnt La Raza the bunch that wants to take back California for Mexico?"
Well yes, but La Raza also wants to "take back" Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, southern Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Oregon to roundout the new "Atzlan"

Not at all. However, it is not uncommon for avowed racists to say what you did, as it becomes a sort of justification for their irrational hatred. The NAACP, La Raza, etc., are advocacy groups for the members of their otherwise underserved communities, nothing more.

It is called "Reconquista" and it is a very real threat.
We are watching it unfold as wave after wave of illegals come over the border. They will quite simply try to outbreed non-Raza people.
And that is working.

Not to worry. Uncle Tancredo will build a chain of Liebensborn Resorts for the frolicking and procreation of acceptable racial types.

BWAAAHAAAHAA!!!
Yeah right - and Aryan Nation only wants to help poor white Appalacians. [rolleyes]
"Por la raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada."
"For the race, everything, outside the race, nothing."
If you put your race above all else - you're a racist. La Raza's motto does just that. Lie, distort, distract all you want. You can't deny the truth. The National Council Of La Raza is a purely racist organization, plain and simple.
So go peddle your blatantly hypocritical white-hating racism to DemocraticUnderground.
Their own words betray them. They're racists just like the Aryan Nation and the KKK:
"We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos... non-Latinos aren't watching, they aren't raising questions"
~ Fernando Guerra,
"Remember 187 (proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non citizens) was the last gasp of white America in California."
~ Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party in front of 400 cheering Latinos at U.C. Riverside on January 14, 1995.
"Our devil has pale skin and blue eyes..." "To the gringos in the audience, I have one final message to convey, 'Up yours, baby. You've had it, from now on.' "
~ Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas.
"California is going to be a Hispanic State and anyone who doesn't like it should leave. They should go back to Europe."
~ Mario Obledo, President of the Californian Coalition of Hispanic Organisations, June 1998.
"We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population... I love it. They are sh!tting in their pants with fear. I love it.... We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him."
~ Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas.

Huh---I thought Hillary was supposed to go the the "right" of President Bush....
She says what the people she's talking to want to hear. No core beliefs, just get elected then run the show.
To: COEXERJ145
Obviously it isn't going to work....
The problem is, she may never have to put her money where he mouth is...
John Cornyn is furious because Frist took the Immigration reform legislation off the calendar for the summer...and he says he MIGHT get to it in the fall...
The fact is, NO POLITICIAN wants to vote FOR closed borders.
And the fact that the terrorists that perpetrated the London bombings would have legally been able to come to America on a Visa w/o background check because they were British citizens. They wouldn't have needed the border.
Also, I have heard some terrorist experts say that the Canadian border is more problematic because of their open door policy to the terrorist groups and a lot of Muslims live there.

Not rubbing it in but I told all of the "if Bush doesn't do something about immigration I'm voting for Hillary" crowd that the witch is talking out her rear end and will come up with a new government program funding the La Raza gang's.

So you're calling the RNC chair who will be addressing La Raza, a racist?
Are you also calling Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, an admitted member of the organization, a racist?
Just checking.

Uh, ask a Venezuelan, Colombian, or Cuban in South Florida what "La Raza" is and you will get a blank stare.
The origins of "La Raza Cosmica" were created by the Mexican intellectual Jose Vasconcelos. It was used to unite the people during the revolution. It was pure government propaganda and unique to Mexico.
I can't believe people actually take this organization seriously. They get all of their funds from the Ford Foundation and other corporate foundations and have as much popular support as a bottle of whiskey in Mecca.

If the RNC Chair believes in the motto "For the race everything, outside the race nothing", then yes, he's a racist. ANY organization that makes such a ridiculously myopic statement as that is a racist organization.
As far as Attorney General Gonzalez, he may or may not be a racist but he's CERTAINLY an asinine ignoramus:
"Uh... they might be unlawful aliens but otherwise lawful citizens"
~ Alberto Gonzalez, US Attorney General commenting on illegal aliens during his confirmation hearing, Jan. 6, 2005.
