I figure that since Andrea Mitchell admitted she knew, the guy who said all of her neighbors knew was correct.

THAT EXPLAINS IT!

Cooper is cooperating in name only. His REAL job is to plant the false story.

Very true! I guess I don't have much to worry about unless she shows up on my favorite Fox show, "The Big Story" with John Gibson!

I'd actually like to see the lefty Chetry try to go at it with Gibson. He'd tear her apart!

Someone better tell the trial lawyers.

Seriously, this is why a lawyer will not ask some specific questions of a defendant and they tell the defendant of the attorney's legal obligation to disclose the truth IF they hear it.

Are Florida lawyers subject to the same laws?

Speaking of Mr. Wilson....

Isn't it interesting that her job at the CIA, since 1997, had been to work on WMD'S....hmmmmmmmm

And wasn't the CIA's lack of intelligence (supposedly) regarding the WMDs or the lack of them, that has made the dems and libs and other countries blast President Bush for 3 years?????

Also, kind of ironic today is that Britain's MI-5 has been held up as THE intelligence to strive for, and yet we find out this morning that one of the terrorists from last week, (the teacher) had been considered last year, but was written off as not involved with terrorism....

You know it's funny how it never came out that Chris Matthews had something to do with this. It was in print, everyone just flew right over it.

Which is why most criminal cases end in a plea agreement.

Contrary to TV dramas, the VAST majority of civil and criminal cases never go to trial.

Even in the civil arena, there is often requirments to a PREtrial process for settlement before a case can even be filed. (medical malpractice comes to mind)

Successful lawyers do not play that game or need to play that game. (at some point such intentional ignorance becomes culpable.)

I am glad you brought that up about what Schumer said about how HE asked for a special prosecutor...

Because, some of the dems and libs have been saying that it is obvious that the CIA and the Justice Department felt that a crime had been committed because THEY started the investigation...

NOW, Schumer admits that he had to "push" for the investigation!!!

Good catch!

"The ONLY reason for a special prosecutor in this non-crime story is to drag it out."

Perhaps, though I think that the Dims and/or MSM demanded that the 'leak' be investigated, so the Pres said OK and asked Ashcroft to look into it. The Dims and MSM didn't like Ashcroft so they demanded a SP. The Pres called their bluff once again and said OK and turned it over to a SP. I think the Dims thought the Pres wouldn't do that (hoping he and the WH had something to hide). When he did, they had to shut up for a little while. Plus, there were other issues, such as the election, to deal with; and, then they tried to get at him and the Admin through other ways such as AG, Gitmo, judicial nominations/filibusters, etc. It is curious that this story has gotten legs again, what seems like all of a sudden. Maybe it's because the summer is slow for news, the other items have passed (until the SCOTUS nominee is named), and I believe the SP is supposed to issue a report in 2 months so it's time to bring it up again. It may also have something to do with the Oil for Food Scandal and more info coming out on that - from what I have read, there may be some connections to Wilson and companies he's worked for/owned and companies involved in OFS. If that's the case, he may be trying to now get out and look like a victim then if he's accused of involvement w OFS, he can say the Admin is after him on something else.

Something I'm curious about - Goss is supposedly cleaning house at the CIA. Wonder if Plame has been asked to leave or if they're waiting to see what the SP's report says. If she's not on the SP's report, but asked to leave, I suspect she and Wilson will start screaming it was only because of the "Rove Scandal" and try to claim she was a whistleblower of some type.

Excellent post and analysis here.

What I believe the rats are doing long term is compiling a bunch of lies and half truths like in this post to use as commercials, PR, propaganda for whom ever candidate they choose for whatever election.

It's an age old ploy and if you get a dumb enough electorate it can work.

Long term I think that is a DNC goal.

What is grey poupon?

Regarding terrorists and bombers. I agree that the reason that the BBC changed their website from terrorists to bombers was wrong and stupid.

Having said this in the UK if you asked the average man in the street what the difference between a bomber and a terrorist they would say a bomber is a terrorist if mentioned in the connotation of Madrid, London and various other incidents worldwide. So I think maybe as far as what the average person believes what is being portrayed it really does not matter if we call them terrorists or bombers and the BBC changing the wording will not be noticed nor will it achieve anything because to the Brits there is no difference. I say let them think that they are being PC because the general public will still think they are calling them terrorists when they use the word bombers.

Makes you wonder if she is an anonymous source for WMD inside the CIA?? She should have been kept away from anything to do with Iraq.

Gibson has been really letting himself loose lately, and I love it!! He isn't afraid to let the Rats know just what he thinks of them. Of course, the way that Fox is going lately, they may try to put a muzzle on him soon.
