Here is the email form for Meet the Press.

I suggest FReepers write old timmy and ask him if Joe Wilson didn't break the law and violate his "non disclosure agreement" by writing his OP-ED in the NYT's. And how since Joe broke those laws by lying about those classified documents, his op-ed could be considered as anything but a partisan political attack on President Bush during a time of war?

Yeah, newsreaders who all too often interject their own petty remarks into the broadcast. So unprofessional.

I read Plame was bragging about her CIA connection to all her neighbors and friends. Her husband and any reporter claiming otherwise is simply lying.

Is it possible that Wilson is telling the truth and the original report you read was simply inaccurate?

Given Wilson's track record, that it highly unlikely. But it is at least possible.

That is a new one on me an exclusive interview means to me that this person has not been interviewed on this subject by anyone else and that they are stating something that they have not stated elsewhere before.

Nope. It's got nothing to do with "has not been interviewed on this subject by anyone else" or "stating something they have not etc." It's an Exclusive Interview--an interview no one else has, as opposed to a press conference.

Meet the Press has exlcusive interviews every single weekend they do a new show; 90% of the news channels have exclusive interviews every day when they are interviewing someone one-on-one. They just toss "Exclusive Interview" in to make it sound sexy, as oppposed to "An interview with Joe Wilson"--"An Exclusive Interview with Joe Wilson" sounds so much cooler. (To them, at least.)

Have any new "facts" emerged in today's round of interviews and pontifications?

"I find that Mrs. Wilson's absence from the television is very interesting."

Maybe she wants to keep her CIA job?

The Democrat Party Plan for National Security and the War on Terror.-Raise taxes

The Democrat Party Plan for National Security and the War on Terror.-Raise taxes Give up to Al Qeada, give Iraq back to Saddam, abandon Israel, invite Muslim to the United States to spew hatred to infidels, and cut defense spending by 75% WHILE raising taxes.

Slowly, liberals capturing Fox.

John Gibson is a hold-out: He had a My Word segment last week, arguing that Rove should get a medal for his part in making known that Plame (though he doesn't seem have known her name) was instrumental in getting her husband named to investigate what she considered a crazy theory.

He continues to get hate e-mail from the left, but is sticking to his guns. Friday, he said that Capitol Hill Dems are currently refusing to appear on his show until Rove is "gone" (resigned, fired, jailed, shot?). Then, filling in for O'Reilly, he recounted his whole story -- it was great!

Sure, anything is possible. The powers that be in DC never tell me what's going on. < grin >

Since it came from a reporter who said they heard it, I tend to believe it. It's hard to believe Wilson since his story has been debunked over and over by numerous reporters in the press. Once he's been outed as a liar, nobody can know for sure when he's telling the truth, or not.

"They just can't believe that this story isn't going anywhere. It's a like a general whose offensive has been stopped dead in it's tracks but he just keeps on attacking hoping for a breakthrough."

I would say it was more like the Manson Family trying to kill Sharon Tate, et al., but this time they were met with the discharge of a double barrel shotgun right in the face.

The translation of KGB is "Committee for State Security". Does this sound a little too close to "Homeland Security Agency"?
Are you ready for a Democrat President to get control of the new agency, because it will happen.

In the UK both newscasters and what you refer to anchormen are not allowed to express their own point of view yet I get the impression this is not true in the US

Also another piece of useless information a newscaster cannot do a commercial until they stop reading the news. If they move in to another form of journalism they can but the reason is that it is considered that if a newscaster advertises something the public subconsciously may be influenced due to the fact they are used to them reporting facts rather than opinions.

Good point---I didn't see Fat Timmy holding up the results of the Senate Intelligence Committee report discrediting what Wilson is saying...

Also, (I didn't see Brit's show, yet, will see the rerun on FNC later)...I didn't see MTP or Face the Nation say anything about the stupid law that the Dems tried to pass on Thursday....retroactively trying to make what Rove supposedly did, a crime. (even though they don't even know yet what he truly did/did not do!)...

Schieffer mentioned the presser with Schumer/Wilson, but didn't ask Schumer about that ill-concieved law that he and all other dems voted FOR!

No one must tell the truth, particularly an attorney, unless they are under oath.

It seems they are recycling the old talking points, adding the new talking point of "national security issue".

(in preparation for the "we are less safe" argument for 2006 and 2008)

The are also pushing the Time magazine contention of cooper that Rove was the first to tell him. I think the reporters involved have lost all credibility.

That reporterette is not in jail because Rove is her source. Someone else who would "reach out and touch" her is a negative way if she reveals them perhaps?

[Specter] wants a politician, it seems.

I heard that part: he cited the Brown v. Board of Education court as a shining example of non-judges on the USSC. From what I've read (and I have never read the decision), Brown is badly reasoned -- and has nothing to do with the Constitution, though it's generally granted that the same result could have been reached from the Constitution.
