OK so Colin Powell is the leaker.
Congressman Billybob
BOLTON... IT HAD TO BE BOLTON!! :^{)
Wilson was, evidently, acting first and foremost as an agent of the DNC and the leftist media, and only used the CIA connection Valerie Plame got him as a kind of cover and to give his planned lies an official veneer.
I imagine that if all the facts came out, we would find that the proprietors of the New York Times took part in the planning meetings which set up this propaganda ploy, at the highest level, and that that is why their own reporter is currently sitting in jail, attempting to continue to conceal the fact that the Times was at the bottom of this whole leftist-instigated plot from the beginning.
It's their standard modus operandi. A small group of high media officials meets with a small group of Democrat politicians and plots out what the next propaganda assault will be. In this case, a double assault--that Bush "lied" about WMDs, and as a fallback when Novak let most of the cat out of the bag that Rove breached security.
What's evident is that these media slime gave Plame's name to Rove, not vice versa. It's becoming an old media trick: phone up your political enemy, have a brief conversation pretending to let him set the record straight, and then lie about what he said.
I had forgotten about it, but the author is absolutely correct!
Last year, when this was being cusses and discussed the morons at DU made the leap the Rove WAS on that plane (because he accompanies him everywhere, was their logic), so he was the leaker.
Not one DUmmy considered it could have been Powell.
Of course it's Powell - he's a DC insider, and this clearly explains why the Left who knew about the real leaker refused to name him (c'mon - you knew it wasn't Rove or Bush when Cooper had to wait a year to come up with the right excuse to name one or the other).
I still say it's Powell. Don't ask me for proof or evidence, but that's my theory and I'm sticking to it.
Comprehension is not the problem, it's the output that's incomprehensible! Put another way; if the Old Gray Whore were, say, Enron this would be called cooking the books. Which in fact they may also be doing given their precipitous decline on the stock exchange. Woof!
FGS
Interesting observation (facts).
Why did he resign from the Secretary of State position?
Probably the same reason they can't write...
When the facts are inconvenient to your agenda and you ignore them, it constitutes a lie.
It is clear the Times is aware of the contrary evidence, so the term "lie" is accurate.
This is not the exception at the Times, it is policy.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Wilson is Willie's man. This is a diversion. The whole point is to build a label that will allow the left, every time some one finds evidence of Willie's criminality, to say "Oh, that was settled long OK."
The left today, does exactly that with the word "McCarthyism." They use it as a defense that overcomes any argument. Let some one investigate the extremist left wing words/actions of a celebrity or presstitute and the first defense is "McCarthyism," rather than a factual response.
It is a wonderful tool and one that the left wants to develop before proof of Willie's criminal acts surface.
"The former ambassador was selected for the 1999 trip after his wife mentioned to her supervisors that her husband was planning a business trip to Niger in the near future and might be willing to use his contacts in the region ... "
WHAT kind of "business" did Joe Wilson have in Niger in 1999?? Was he buying livestock or onions??? Why did Plame later in 2003 suggest that he knew the Prime Minister and the Minister of Mines? Doesn't this suggest that Joe Wilson was involved in the uranium business? Who could possibly have been his clients?? Could his trip have been suggested by his wife so he could cover up the dealings his friends in Niger might have had with Saddam Hussein?? At the very least, was not his trip a gross conflict of interest?
Inquiring minds want to know!!
Wheres Cary Grant when we need him...Oh Judy, Judy, Judy...Miller!
