Never take a garden hose nozzle to a gun fight.

Don't bring a garden hose nozzle to a gunfight.

Like my Dad always told me, never bring a garden hose nozzle to a gun fight.

while attempting to rob a downtown Windsor liquor store with a garden hose nozzle Hopefully he at least used the kind that looks slightly like a gun, and not the kind with the big spout and all the little holes that is used for watering plants.

Not just nominee, but the winner IMHO.

The only thing more dangerous than pointing a gun at an armed person, is pointing a fake gun at an armed person.

I've read that sometimes people who shoot at an attacker end up shooting the attackers hand/weapon, rather than the attacker's center of mass (?) I wonder if that happened here, and if so, did it happen because the store owner failed to focus on the front sight.

The chief said the investigation is now centering on a motive for the robbery. Eh? The motive? Let me take a wild guess: for the money?

I'm surprised they didn't call him a "victim."
The MSM usually does call perps "victims" when the 2nd Amendment is instrumental in their demise.

The bullet from Trauernicht gun struck the inside of the garden hose nozzle, exited the top of the nozzle and struck Wies in the head, Michaels said. Nice shot.

The incident began late Friday when Wies entered Corner Liquors holding a garden hose nozzle... Now, if the place were called Wicked Witch of the West Liquors, I could see the need for the hose.
That's one less scumbag we need to worry about.

"Michaels said Trauernicht faced Wies and fired one shot. The bullet from Trauernicht gun struck the inside of the garden hose nozzle, exited the top of the nozzle and struck Wies in the head, Michaels said." when asked about the miracle shot,Trauernicht said "I tried to do that" ;-)
