U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and Ambassador Joseph Wilson will hold a press conference at 3:00pm TODAY, July 14, 2005 in the Mansfield Room of the U.S. Capitol to call for the suspension of White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove' security clearance until the investigation of the leak of CIA Agent Valerie Plame's identity is resolved.

I'm wondering why Joe Wilson has tried to blame Rove for this for a couple years now.
Only recently has Cooper's notes been made public. My guess is that Wilson knew about Cooper's call to Rove, maybe even before it happened!
After all, since Cooper is the one that brought up to Rove, I think it's likely that he was part of a group that was trolling Rove for information on the Niger story, when BAM, Rove blurts out about Wilson's wife.
Sensing they had a nugget, they went to work at trying to get Rove in trouble.
I don't think they had this in mind when they made the call, but they recognized it as soon as it fell in their lap.
Of course, Wilson knew that his wife was never in any real danger, so he agreed to the more public outing.
I think Bush should name Rove as Supreme Court Judge....hahahahahahaha

Just as Dan Rather's documents were fakes but containing "genuine" information, Sandy destroyed handwritten notes that "existed" elsewhere.

They were thinking of having the MA Republican Governor Mitt Romney speak at our Convention -- no one wanted anyone from MA speaking here in OK even if he was a Republican so we got the wonderful Senator George Allen instead.
You just let out the secret to the "timing" of their faux press conferences.

I believe that it is part of his plea arrangement that Sandy Berger loses his security clearance for a period of three years. Speculation is that he would regain it in time to become Her Thighness Hitlery's National Security Advisor.
I love to see the dems melt down.
