Whoa. Obviously Charles knows a LOT after having listened to this call. His use of the words "hard to handle" and "far-reaching implications" makes me think that he heard more than Natalee's voice on that call. Could there have been a ransom call?? And somehow the public was kept totally in the dark about it? Could one call have been from Natalee and other voices, possibly threatening, could be heard in the background?
when I wrote "hotties", I was referring to certain Ladies of the Thread, and that since his ph # is at the link they can call him :)
Someone said that Joran would always be looking over his shoulder, I doubt it, not if he is a sociopath. He'd be oblivious--what lands this other person I know in jail, is not typically his 'crimes' per se, it's drunk driving, and THEN the other stuff catches up to him! The way Joran drinks--if he were to come to the states--that's what would catch attn of law enforcement. (In my opinion anyway)
I didn't see the footage of Joran hitting the car. Sounds like it's finally getting to him. Can someone give me the situation?
He has a cute wife and ADORABLE little Junior! They should leave him alone! LOL.

That is astonishing.....maybe Natalees disappearance receives short shrift from the arubans because she failed to submit a complaint in triplicate to aruban LE?

Nothing. J came around the front of the car to get in the opened door and as he did he hit the car hood. He was not escourted around the car. The LE person was standing off to the right of the opened door and walked over to J as J reached the door. The LE person was writing something down as he approached J. That is all I saw.
Not to quibble, but I think although very conservative on some issues (like gun possession) not so on all 'social issues' and I believe he's an independent. Let's see I'm almost 36, so I've now had a crush/admired this guy for far too many years. My mom vividly remembers that when I was a pre-teen I figured out Tom Selleck was old enough to be my dad, I was crushed for about a week.... :)
Perhaps J did open the car door. I was so surprised to see J walking around the car alone and hitting the hood as he did. Then noticed the LE person approach him at the car door. I could have missed that J actually opened the car door.

I don't have cable. So, I'm stuck with only a few stations usually showing either racing or golf. =( Most of the coverage/information about Natalee that I've been following has been through FR. I'm grateful for the informative posts and transcripts.
I hope Natalee's family realizes the support and sympathy people feel for them. I'll never visit Aruba.

What I saw was Joran after coming around the front of the vehicle, hitting the hood, upon reaching the door, gesture as if he was going to open the vehicle door, then end of clip.
Certainly could have been that way. My old eyes miss things and I guess sometimes try to make sense out of what I have seen! Either way, it sure looked like J was quiet upset.:)
