I hope Bush is consulting Reid, Kennedy et al. the same way I consult the LA Times editorial endorsements on election day - to find out who NOT to vote for.

Here we go again -- Dems are giving us two names they say are on the list and complaints have already started on the thread -- why would anyone take the Dems comments as fact or get upset before the nomination? You all are wasting your time to get so upset without having facts.

But go right ahead you doom and gloomers (D&G's)-- believe the Dems, believe Newsmax, and go right on griping, wringing hands, and it is going to change zero, zip, nada.

Waiting for the first "I am not voting Republican again" or "I am not donating again" from the 3rd party D&G's to start next.

At least they mentioned their commitment not to discuss names. That's over and above what passes for integrity in Washington. The President needs to get out more. He'd learn what Washington is really like. The Democrats in Washington will roll you every time. They're setting Bush up so they can say, "He broke his commitment to us!" Ah, well.

Why does NewsMax pull this kind of carp? The story does not support the headline. Sheesh.

Carl, did you write the headline? Why?

If you will read the article, rather than the misleading headline, you will see that these are people the Rats find acceptable and released to the press. The President gave them no names.

You read this article, and toward the end you find out that the only names mentioned were suggested by "Senator Leahy." Helloooo. Leaky Leahy is a hard-wired lib-Dem. The odds that the two names that he wants would be President Bush's "short list" are the same as a card-carrying Muslim becoming the next Pope.

Do not get discouraged by the judicial nonentitities mentioned here. They are Democrat plants, not Bush possibles. Lord knows why NewsMax put such an obviously false headline on its article.

It already happened in post #2. But it was the only one so far.

Leahy always leaks. Well, why don't we dispense with rules and customs and simply let dems pick and choose whomever they please, plus run foreign policy, make all laws. GW should simply move out of the WH and let Hill take over. This is disgusting. We suddenly see all sorts of new rules concocted by Libs as to why they should run the country, despite having lost election after election. They'll get us all killed -- either taxed to death, or bombed to bits by Muslims we've offended by breathing.

Here we go again.....good Freepers can't even post their opinions without someone jumping on the thread to tell them that they are bad Republicans, call them names, etc......

Hey, good Freepers are just voicing their concerns, opinions, etc....happens all day, every day on FR.

You have your opinion and they have theirs.....

Leahy drives me nuts, as a matter of fact the whole dim party has my blood boiling. They hate America, they hate President Bush, they will stop at nothing to get their way.

This leak is strictly for the moonbat left's consumption - Dingy and Leaky and the rest of the boys are testing the waters. I can tell you right now that neither of these names will fly with the NARAL-MoveOn-CAIR crowd. I'll bet the DUmmies are already howling about how they're getting the shaft again (though they'll use stronger language).

Does anyone honestly think that President Bush is so ignorant that he wouldn't expect the Dims to leak any names he gave them as soon as they heard them? They'd be jumping up and running to the microphones before Bush told them to have a good day.
