Don't put off what you can do today when it concerns relationships. The present is all we can depend on in time. In eternity we can depend on God for.........well, eternity. So, for now Billie, THANK YOU for being such a dedicated and sweet hostess for so many years. We have come to depend on you and the other hostesses who have such talent to present interesting topics and graphics each day.

My Mom died at 61, I miss her dearly. She got up to go to the bathroom, fell back into bed and died at 5am, 7 years ago. 61, to young.

I have a couple computer projects to do for church. Power point for service Sunday(it will be a BIG, long one & quite involved) & work up all the VBS pix I took, put on CD & copy for all the visitors/members.

yup. sweet thing about digital, as you know, you can shoot away. 5 days of VBS, set up day, & program Sunday morn.
Will delete bad ones & when duplicates, chose best.

You are a good speaker--I remember the last time you linked to one of your speeches. It was very eloquent! And the message was so good--I wanted to kidnap you and bring you down here! We need men like you here,too! LOL! Ya think your wife would be willing to re-locate? (just kidding--sort of!)
If we lose this election, relocating is very possible.
That will mean this place is doomed and headed for failure.

I have been walking and talking to the people and the message is clear.
They are fed up, tired of the highest taxes in the country, 42% higher than National average.
Gas at 133.9 per gallon, sales tax 8.25%, avg 13,000 per student, per year taxes.
Pensions, pork, patronage, healthcare, medicaid. Irresponsible county and state govt. Spending that Mario Cuomo is jealous of.
RINO's, the whole state. Not a real Republican in a power spot in this state.
Controlled by unions, trial lawyers, insurance companies, pensions.

I found this and have been promoting these very issues for years. It's common sense, we just need to do it, just do it.. some how, some way.
Good lord, Rus! If the people up there are tired of those horrible figures on taxes, and aren't couragous enough to give you a chance to change things for them, then they deserve what they get, IMHO!
Just keep reminding them. Post that link everywhere you can to compare your part of NY to others especially in the handout department! Maybe you can wake them up. You just do your best, which is to have the truth right out there, and if they reject the truth, then they have no one to blame but themselves!
I wish I, and all your friends here on FR, could do more, but all we have is words. If they will keep you going forward then I will have felt that I did my little part!
