Hillary 'Outraged' at Bush Security Failure
NewsMax.com ^ | July 9, 2005 | Carl Limbacher

2008 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said Friday she was "outraged" that President Bush hasn't spent more money to beef up security on New York City's mass transit system in the wake of Thursday's train bombings in London.

"I'm absolutely outraged by the failure of the administration to release the [rail security] funding that Congress approved last year," the top Democrat complained.

"We are woefully behind where London and other subway systems are because London does have the video surveillance," she fumed. "I just don't understand what the holdup is."

Even before the smoke cleared in London, Clinton was on the attack, ripping Bush in a statement posted to her official Senate web site on Thursday:

"It is imperative that the millions of New Yorkers who travel on trains and buses know that our tunnels and facilities continue to operate with the highest security operations in place. The President’s budget calls for a $50 million cut in funding for rail and transit security this year, which is clearly a step in the wrong direction."

Mrs. Clinton vowed to continue to press the White House to get the job done, saying, "I will work to ensure that we provide the resources needed to meet our rail and transit security needs."

Democrat motto: Never miss an opportunity to say "It's Bush's fault"...even when there is nothing to blame on him.

Funny - three studies came out in the last month that basically says 'video surveillance' does NOTHING to stop attacks. Even in London, among the most watched cities in the world, you cannot stop these small attacks.

But then again, the Democrats never bother with logic, the truth or the Constitution.

Does Hillary really mean the richest city in the US can't afford to pay for its own transit security?

So, why hasn't the city of New York paid for their security? Why do I, living out here in Arizona where we have our own problems, have to pay for security cameras in New York City?

You are right - I heard Rush talk about this. No wonder Hildebeast ran in NYS - in the top ten most corrupt states in the US. The media is not reporting the fact that it is NYS that has not done the paperwork to get the money. But the biasd media reports the Hidlebeast whining about the lack thereof.

Insanity and corruption abound in NYS and in the medea.

NOTE: a written statement. NO IN PERSON. Hitlare is following her patter of being MIA.

The fact the media is touting her statement is just giving her cover for her hiding from the cameras.

When security issues rise to the front page, Hitlary disappears as sure as night follows day.

Good point I've actually heard some socialists saying we now need the same video surveillance London has, so we can prevent these attacks.

"We are woefully behind where London and other subway systems are because London does have the video surveillance," she fumed.

She and her cronies in the ACLU will be the first to cry that the government will be violating the right to privacy with more video surveillance in the subways.

HILLARY:

Well, I lost the battle for the Olympics being
assigned to NY state (spent that whole weekend
over there whining and dining those IOCC idiots,
too!)...What a GREAT chance to save my pride
and hone in on the 2008 Presidency by grandstanding
re the NYC subway security. Great opportunity to
blast Bush and his cronies. What the hell..
most of the public doesn't know that the President
doesn't hold the purse strings once he's
signed a Congressional bill! I can say
anything I like and point the finger at him;
no one's going to accuse me of fabricating!
Lord knows, they've had plenty of opportunities
but the only Republican that ever picks up on
anything I do or saY is that damnable Rush LImbaugh!

As the co-president for eight years what did she do about terrorism? Seems to me her job was to lie and and cover up for Bubba and pretend no terrorist acts were occuring on their watch.

Hillary may as well draw the terrorists a map of the NYC subway system highlighting which stops are most vulnerable.
Any politician who publicly identifies specific US targets as being vulnerable to terrorist attack, should be arrested for aiding and abetting the enemy.
