This was how an Islamist group, using the al Qaeda brandname, announced its responsibility for the terror attacks that claimed nearly 40 lives in London yesterday. Although the exact circumstances of the raid on London remain murky, one thing is certain: This was a suicide operation aimed at killing as many civilians as possible. That the raid came as the G-8 summit opened in Scotland is certainly significant, as is the fact that it was the first day of the Arabic lunar month of Jamadul al-Akhir, Prophet Muhammad's favorite season for organizing raids against the "infidel."

I am sure that during WW2 our pilots did not wish to kill German mothers and fathers and grandfathers. However if they were working in a weapons factory, engaged in building arms to kill our troops, they probably were killed, and I doubt if our airmen had any regrets.
The same situation should apply to Muslim weapons factories. ie: Mosques.

Freedom of Speech means you can't do anything until somebody blows something up. And then you can only go after the one who did it. We can talk about it being a war. But as long as any legal institutions are functioning it will legally always be a legal matter. The law cannot prevent terrorist acts. That can only be done by first getting rid of the law.

The people of the West have been committing national suicide by means of widespread abortions,limited euthanasiia, and tolerance of those who hate us for a half-century. A nation more certain of its foundations could easier fight external threats;now we are too much like a fractured family of drug addicts reacting to a home invasion.

The gov't of the U.K.,Australia,and just about every one but the U.S. of A. punish citizens who want or do defend themselves from criminals, crying that "the authorities will handle it".It is difficult for people to trust in a gov't which won't trust in the people.

I believe it has been proven a free people will fight harder,and the West needs to shore up its foundations of personal freedom and personal responsibilty in order to more effectively resist final enslavement.

And Tony Blair just a few minutes ago, (nervously) standing in front of the G8 leaders, announced 3 Billion dollars to be unconditionally given to the Palestinians, and much more to Africa.
