(Washington, D.C.) This morning, the world learned of multiple terrorist attacks that have killed dozens of men and women in London and wounded hundreds more. National Libertarian Party Executive Director Joe Seehusen issued the following statement:

"Today is not a day for politics or posturing. Instead we should focus our thoughts and prayers on the victims and their families. As the people of the United Kingdom mourned our losses on September 11th, we do the same for them today. Our hearts go out both to those who have lost loved ones today and to all of the victims who remain."

He continued, "While we mourn today, we must continue preparing our thoughts to bring an end to the hate and fear that leads to such attacks."

***

Sounded like a good statement, till he got to this part. Perhaps it wasn't his intention, but it sounds like the Britons (and anyone in the west, including the U.S.) are responsible for the "hate and fear." It's not our hate or fear that brought this on, but rather, the irrational thoughts of these barbaric thugs.

bring an end to the hate and fear that leads to such attacks

How about ending the people who plan, finance and carry out such attacks?

What "fear" led to such an atrocity?

Hit your bong and leave us alone.

Exactly what you think he means.

There is a good reason why a number of us sadly turned in our cards after 9/11/01.

On the other hand, the Objectivists make neocons look like pacifists.

Help elect Democrats, Vote Libertarian!
and by the way their immigration policies would allow more of this to happen here at home.

I don't know what the Libertarians mean by it, but in my mind it means, "We must prepare our thoughts to drop a bunch of MOABs on some towel heads."

Hit your bong and leave us alone.

Too bad you banned the bong, and what to smoke in it. I guess that means they'll keep bothering you for eternity.

Lots of good ideas in that party. Mostly I still agree with them. But that was a deal breaker for me.

Yes, once upon a time, I was a Libertarian.

Since 9/11, I would call myself a survivalist.

No, the Smurph Party has actually been elevated to the point of being more relevant than the Libertarian Party (Former Libertarian here)

Not you personally, "you" plural, as in "leave 'us' alone." Who is the "us" you are referring to?

and by the way their immigration policies would allow more of this to happen here at home.
Whereas the current immigration scheme propagated by the Republicrats kept out the 9/11 attackers.

Wait, that isn't right ....
