A Russian astrologist who says NASA has altered her horoscope by crashing a spacecraft into a comet is suing the U.S. space agency for damages of $300 million, local media has reported.
NASA deliberately crashed its probe, named Deep Impact, into the Tempel 1 comet to unleash a spray of material formed billions of years ago which scientists hope will shed new light on the composition of the solar system.
"It is obvious that elements of the comet's orbit, and correspondingly the ephemeris, will change after the explosion, which interferes with my astrology work and distorts my horoscope," Izvestia daily quoted astrologist Marina Bai as saying in legal documents submitted before Monday's collision.

Just when you think you've heard everything...

I'm surprised one of our own looney "astrologists" didn't come up with this one.

Hey!
Me too. It totally screwed up my future astrological outlook; but not quite as badly.
I will settle for only $150 million.
I'm reasonable.

Hope this doesn't screw up the Horoscope in "The Onion." I live my life around their predictions. ;)

The avacado must be her astrological sign. If it isn't a fruit it's gotta be a veggie.

Wait a minute, if she was any good, she would have predicted... oh, never mind.

I was thinking rhe same thing ...
You see, I'm a Pisces, and I thought there was a shift in my direction this morning, but then probably not ... it could have been all the beer I drank Saturday ... or the peach brandy jelly shots ... but that was Saturday and today is today, so I think maybe NASA owes my an apology, or an excuse, or a beer or two ... or maybe not.
I'm a Pisces, two fish going in opposite directions at the exact same time ... the corner of walk and don't walk.
Life is fun
I think.

She should sue in the Intergalactic, Celestial Court.

Didn't the stars themselves predict NASA's probe?
If not, how reliable ARE the stars?

She should have sued for billions when Pluto was downgraded to a "planetoid".

Well, so much for the "science" of astrology. I predict that there will be alot of blasting from now on.
