Okay, we're in the middle of a holiday weekend, and I'm bored
My own twisted mind | July 3, 2005 | Me

This will probably get shunted off to general chat, but what the hell? I'm bored. So, let's list some irrelevant things and have a conversation about them.

1. All Time Favorite Movie
2. All Time Favorite War Movie
3. All Time Favorite TV show
4. All Time Favorite James Bond
5. All Time Favorite Author
6. All Time Favorite Detective(TV, Movie, or Book)
7. All Time Favorite Book

That should be enough to get us started.

Concur. She was in that show with Robert Cummings. I preferred Lee Merriweather as Catwoman. More intelligence, more believable. Well, if you can believe in the concept of a Catwoman, that is.

"Love American Style" was considered racy in its day. I haven't seen it since its original run, but I'm betting it would seem VERY tame now. Certain people like Karen Valentine and Michelle Lee were always showing up on that program. And of course The Cowsills sang the theme.

Nah, I was a bit too young for husbands, but Lost in space, Angela CArtwright probably had all you guys, or her tv sister Judy, spinning, but us girls, we swooned over Don.

Lots of actresses had me spinning. I even liked Veronica in the Archie comics. Well, I have to bow out now -- I have to get up in about five hours. Although this is more fun than sleep. Maybe we can do this again on Labor Day!!

Thanks, I'll probably do what I always do, rent it. The last movie I saw in a theater was Forrest Gump. I don't really go gaga over hollywood, and renting is so much nicer. Although, I'd like to have seen the LOTR's at the theater. Oh well.

I had a monkee's albun, the one with the guitar on it. I don't know what happened to it, but I'll bet it's worth something today.

" nothing beat the boys on Lost in space."

Hehehe...I must have had a thing for older women when I was a kid ( dug Larry Tate's wife more than Samantha for example ) because I always liked Mrs. Robinson better than her two daughters , and the younger one was about the same age as I . ;)

" I liked Julie Newmar a little more as Catwoman."

My knees used to wobble when I saw her clad in leather as Catwoman ! One of my first loves along with Mrs. Steed of The Avengers !

Oh Man on Fire is certainly not a family movie. I was almost reluctant to put it, because I didn't want anyone to think that I had overly violent or gruesome tastes, but the story line is very good indeed, and the cinematography is interesting too.

I loved all of the hitchhicker series except for the last one. The movie that they made out of it I appreciated soley for it's Monty Pythonesque qualities.

The Bonds were a tossup between Connery and Brosnan. I'm more partial to the older Connery...more distinguished.

"Pulp Fiction" and "God's Lovingkindness" together on the same list. Interesting..

I have a rational explanation, if you're interested.

Love, Love, Love

Love, American Style,
Truer than the Red, White and Blue.
Love, American Style,
That's me and you.

And on a star spangled night my love, (My love come to me).
You can rest you head on my shoulder.
Out by the dawn's early light, my love
I will defend your right to try.

Love, American Style,
That's me and you.
