Poor Juan.
An ideal debate that I'd love to see against Juan Williams--Larry Elder...black rat lib versus black conservative republican.
I hate to frame it in those terms (I don't even call myself "anything dash American", but a 36 year old American male black conservative), but there are those who think that all blacks are Democrat liberals, and that people like Larry, Thomas Sowell, Jesse Lee Petersen, J.C. Watts, Armstrong Williams, Walter Williams, et.al. are freaks of nature...
(whereas Barack Osama is regarded as the Second Coming...)
Snarlin' Arlen has cancer, dunno what kind. Don't worry, once he finishes the course and gets a few square meals down for a week or two he'll start filling back out.
Just finished 5 solid days of chemo for Leukemia that took me down from 200lbs to 165; looked like hell! My better half has been plying me with Chocolate Malteds for a month and I'm back up to 175. At least my pants don't fall off when I stand up anymore, I didn't have any butt at all!
But when it came to it would they actually appoint him or others similar to any position of power certainly history does not show they would.
Best wishes for a Happy Fourth as well!
AB,
Thanks again for the wonderful job every week on the Sunday Talk Show thread!!!
"Judge Robert Bork getting borked again by some lame brain CNN chickette literally "reading" from her talking points.
The chickette is so lame, brainless."
The brainless chickette is Susanne Malveaux. I believe I heard sometime back that she's Julianne Malveaux's daughter (you may remember Julianne - I think she's a Dim operative/strategist and may also be a Prof- - she was on quite a bit during the Bubba impeachment hearings - black woman, very short hair, glasses, usually wore a jacket w a striped, colored sash-type thing across her shoulder on the diagonal).
What I find amusing is that there has been practically no mention of the O'Donnell/Rove thing. DU must be coming unglued over there. ( I'd look, but I just finished lunch and I have a weak stomach these days. )
The offices at those stations ARE the democrats offices. In fact, they're all a front for the DNC:
ABDNC
NBDNC
DNCBS
DNCNN
DNCNBC
DNCPBS
NPRDNC
and last but not least, DNC-SPAN.
He was asked if he could vote for Janice Rogers Brown, and he pretty much said NO---and when asked why not, since she was just confirmed to the DC Court...he said that the DC Court is a lot different than the SCOTUS, because "THE SUPREME COURT MAKES LAW"---the other courts don't"!!!
In baseball terms, that quote should be a hanging slider (much like Dodger pitcher Derek Lowe served up yesterday) that gets hit out of the park by our side, especially by Rush ("show prep for the rest of the media").
Figures a block off the ol' chip.
She is so dumb she thinks if she keeps smiling we will alllike her... Wronggggg.
I know that I run in "close circles" by being a freeper, but I am still shocked whenever they post the number of viewers to the #1 cable show, O'Reilly, compared to the numbers of the big 4 channels...
It really puts in perspective how LITTLE their message is getting out, out in AMerica, doesn't it...
I am a Senate junkie, so you can imagine how small that audience is...I am starting to feel very alllllllone, lol
If Juan Williams wants Alberto, I certainly don't.
Oh, yeah, running an hour of Paul Harvey is a great idea...sheesh...I don't listen to the 15 minutes they have been giving him.
You are right, it will be a major faux pas, if WBAP doesn't just move Rush up an hour....wouldn't make sense if they don't, because they will lose more listeners, I think.
Could be it's a contract thing, maybe they have to wait until some future date to make the change, and the current line-up is just a stopgap. Let's hope so!
I am sorry to hear about your illness...I will pray that all goes well...
I broke my jaw a while back and had my jaws wired shut for 6 weeks...and then still couldn't eat "hard" food for a month..
I lost quite a bit of weight, but since I am a woman, I didn't mind at all...LOL
Forgot my othere reason to post to you...duh.
I think it is indicative how little stock the MSM places in this claim by O'Donnell that Rove is the snitch, by the fact that none of the shows even touched the subject today...
I think that SCOTUS or no SCOTUS, that would have been the main topic if it was true.
Dems like a Justice who's ready,
To pass muster with Dick, Chuck and Teddy.Pat, Joe and Dianne,
Are preheating the pan,For frying folks found too "right-heady."
Oh, I remember Julianne Malveaux distinctly...
At one time, Wolf had a "panel" on his Sunday show like the Fox show does...
Julianne was one of the regulars...I remember right before July 4 th, they were discussing the war and President Bush, and then at the end Wolf said he wanted to wish the panel and the viewers a Happy 4th of July....and to remember to fly your flags...
Julianne said that SHE would never fly the American flag--she said it isn't HER flag, because HER people were dragged here, therefore this isn't their country, thus the Stars and Stripes will NOT be flown by her...
NEVER have listened to another word that witch has said.
