Has President Bush finally gotten the message?
In his recent speech at Fort Bragg -- he didn't once attempt to sell the notion that Islam is a "Religion of Peace"...
He described whom we KNOW to be Fundamental Islamics as ---- "Many terrorists who kill innocent men, women, and children on the streets of Baghdad are followers of the same murderous ideology that took the lives of our citizens in New York, in Washington, and Pennsylvania. There is only one course of action against them: to defeat them abroad before they attack us at home."
Am I the only one who noticed that President Bush FINALLY referred to Islam as a "murderous ideology"!!!

Huge. The "murderous ideology" is terrorism, which he carefully separate din the past from Islam. You can't read anything else into it until he's a lot clearer than that.

But there *are* people who actually think that Islam itself is an inherently murderous ideology - this thread was started by one.
I started this thread....
And I do believe that at LEAST the Wahhabi sect of Islam -- home front Saudi Arabi -- offers a lot more evidence of being an "inherently murderous ideology" -- than a religion of peace or tolerance.
