Exactly---they consider her conservative mainly because of her vote in the 2000 election...
But they don't like to mention her vote for affirmative action, and for partial birth abortion, and gay rights..
I am really worried that President Bush will nominate Alberto Gonazalez, just because he thinks he will be the most "confirmable" because he is a hispanic and also supposedly he is pro-choice...
There are some that I have heard today that say that the dems won't "filibuster" per se, so they won't get that "rap", but they will pull a Bolton and Estrada...just keep asking for more and more answers and papers, until either they quit, or Bush withdraws the name...

I am also worried. As a conservative, I am very much opposed to anyone the dems think of as a centrist.
They dems wouldn't hesitate to nominate who their first choice. We fall all over ourselves trying not to offend.
Look at the circus side show the Clinton White House turned into, with the oddballs on his staff. We confirmed every idiot. Even the one that wanted masturbation to be taught in schools.
No, we need to pick a true conservative and ram them home.
What happened to Borq was unforgivable. We should never have allowed them to do that.

(US socialist liberalism would be dead without the help of politicians who claim to be conservative.)

Consider what job Gonzales has right now -- Attorney General. Pres Bush is not going to put someone else at DOJ to put Gonzales on the SCOTUS -- not going to happen. People on here are stirring up the Gonzales deal and it is not Republicans who support the President.
