These days, I'll settle for a woman wearing a sun dress as opposed to the jeans that are made to look dirty and baggy sweatshirt.
I remember those jelly bracelets! I may have a few in a box somewhere (some friends gave them to me "back in the day").

----Funny that you post the link to the parts store in Houston; she mentioned that she gets the car serviced in Houston (that's only a 10 hour trip from this part of the state).---- That was my guess, actually. I noticed you were in Texas. :)

We are kinda used to the drive. We've found short cuts and we have favorite places to stop and eat on the way. The last two times, I drove the whole 8-hour drive--hubby tends to go to sleep at the wheel if I don't constantly chatter, so it's just easier to be driving! LOL! And he can just sleep away.

1. Were you in school?
Just graduated Catholic High School.
2. Were you in the military?
No.
3. What kind of music were you listening to?
The Scorpions, a lot of hard rock and heavy metal.
4. What do you recall as the best memory from 1985?
Senior parties, one that must go unmentionable yet probably the most memorable if truth be told, senior retreat, senior prom and the parties afterward, 17 girls including myself spending a week down the shore in New Jersey, attending Live Aid.
I'm going to bed...so don't even ask. :)
To: trussell
I think it's too late to get out. They go back the first week of September. I would understand, if they actually taught. The last month my daughter saw more Disney movies in school than she watched here in the entire year. LOL!

We won't rat each other out.
I barely remember the 1980's.
Worked full time, went to school full time.
Barely slept, rarely ate, got real skinny.
