Chinese dragon awakens

China is building its military forces faster than U.S. intelligence and military analysts expected, prompting fears that Beijing will attack Taiwan in the next two years, according to Pentagon officials.

U.S. defense and intelligence officials say all the signs point in one troubling direction: Beijing then will be forced to go to war with the United States, which has vowed to defend Taiwan against a Chinese attack.

China's military buildup includes an array of new high-technology weapons, such as warships, submarines, missiles and a maneuverable warhead designed to defeat U.S. missile defenses. Recent intelligence reports also show that China has stepped up military exercises involving amphibious assaults, viewed as another sign that it is preparing for an attack on Taiwan.

"There's a growing consensus that at some point in the mid-to-late '90s, there was a fundamental shift in the sophistication, breadth and re-sorting of Chinese defense planning," said Richard Lawless, a senior China-policy maker in the Pentagon. "And what we're seeing now is a manifestation of that change in the number of new systems that are being deployed, the sophistication of those systems and the interoperability of the systems."

China's economy has been growing at a rate of at least 10 percent for each of the past 10 years, providing the country's military with the needed funds for modernization.

The combination of a vibrant centralized economy, growing military and increasingly fervent nationalism has transformed China into what many defense officials view as a fascist state.

"We may be seeing in China the first true fascist society on the model of Nazi Germany, where you have this incredible resource base in a commercial economy with strong nationalism, which the military was able to reach into and ramp up incredible production," a senior defense official said.....

Thanks Joanie and Jeff for the pings. It's going to be an interesting decade that's for sure. It is amazing to think we would even consider putting Hillary!(tm) in the White House after what is outlined in post 75. Sadly this is not well known. The recent book by a former NY Times editor seems almost too-convenient in rehashing the sexual aspects of the Clinton years. That's sure to create sympathy with many Americans who migh otherwise be outraged by the systematic looting and selling of our military secrets that is the real "downside legacy" of the Clintons.

Joanie, I was aware of most if not all of the facts your included in your post. But reading them all together is enough to make me ask again, “How the hell did this monster get away with it? And how is he still walking the street? And why is he being paid good money to give speeches all across the world? And why is his wife and partner in crime sitting in the senate?”

Excuse me. I have to go take some of my blood pressure medicine. {g}

Thanks for the painful but necessary reminder. It’s just too bad most of the rest of the country doesn’t know and doesn’t care about any of this. I wonder if ignorance really is bliss.

Thanks for the heads up on joanie's post(s). They were so good I read 'em both ;^)

The only quibble I might have with joanie's assessment is the motivation behind the Clinton's selling us down the river. I would ask, what legacy? Hoping to keep the Socialist DemocRat party in power? Consider the possibility it might be more sinister/conspiratorial than a few million bucks in campaign(?) donations. Where does that take you?

All I know is that the USA under Clinton designated them with most favored nation status which has continued until today.

I thought that happened under George Herbert Weenie Bush (I) after the Tiananmen Square massacre.

[ ...except I believe Red China will prove even more dangerous a menace than Hitler and Japan unless we act forcefully now, both economically, diplomatically, and militarily to contain and starve the buildup. ]

You don't really think that will happen do you.?.
You may WANT it to happen as would any sane person..
But there are not too many sane people left in the U.S. that I know of..
We LOST the cold war.. If not so, why is America going head over heels toward socialism.?. Like we ARE...

My assessment..
Amercas nationalistic bent is being manipulated..
i.e. millions of people streaming across our borders with no desire at all for national borders.. Watering down any nationalistic bent.. ON PURPOSE by a majority republican government YET.. its no accident..

To wit: Globalism is the direction.. which includes the U.S., Russia and China and by the way India as part of a WHOLE eventually... ANY other use of americas military might (other than closing the borders) and securing the home front.. is a distraction giving time for the Globalism in AMERICA to germinate.. No war with China will happen. America will be taken from within. That is if its not already happened.. Looks like it has.. to me already happened..

The distractions abound.. so the Globalism can progress untouched fully.. The ONLY thing that can stop it, I see, is a revolution in America.. and thats iffy.. Thats what the Patriot Act was all about, to stop that from happening.. It would not be easy for a revolution to even HAPPEN here.. let alone be successful..

The anti-nationalists are streaming across the border.. bolstered by nationals that already WANT Globalism.. No Jeff, any war that happens, I think, will be as an distraction, so the Global cabal can spread..

Absolute genius really, the distractions from Globalism, the real threat.. Your books are for a war that could have happened in 1960 or 1980 even.. but not now.. That scenario (Dragons Fury) is think is also distraction.. URP is already on board the Globalist ship.. The EU is also a distraction marking time.. prepare THEM for it.. The Global Cabal (whoever they are) are busy.. Wars and threats of wars, are merely to divert the sheeple eyes from Hanky Panky on crack.. The only thing that needs to be done is converting Americas people from being fiercely nationalistic to being Globalistic.. Its happening in the colleges here and everywhere, academia is on board, as is the MsM and MsP globally.. Need I say AND the democrat and republican parties too..

Without a revolution in the United States IT WILL HAPPEN TOO..
Maybe a plot for your next book series.. What.?. LoL.. or Travis's.. I know a series by you BOTH... Now that would be a barn burner..

Well, in the Dragon's Fury Series, I do touch on the globalists and their manipulations. An entity therein called the Council on International Relations is certainly trying to pull the strings, but the president who is elected will have nothing of it, and in the midst of the worst crisis in American history since the Civil War...the people band together behind him and the administratioon he puts in place to ultimately defeat both the external and internal enemy...but it is a very near thing.

[ An entity therein called the Council on International Relations is certainly trying to pull the strings, but the president who is elected will have nothing of it, ]

I see.. you're mind did not want go the full mile to consider that the president(and his cabinet) was on board.. with it all..

I understand, mine don't either.. but everyday that I watch the news.. I mean FR news.. Count Von Bushula never seems to amaze me in his globalist bent.. He IS, you know, merely a figurehead.. He can nothing without a buttload of others on board.. Admit it.. even the Russians of yesteryear, it is known NOW, were paper tigers.. The tanks were barely serviceable.. They couldn't even fight the Afganistani's. Against the U.S. their military would have fallen apart in two days.. it was a ruse even then.. The Global scenario was alive even then, they were way ahead us us, the ruse worked... They had no intention of attacking the United States..

As China does NOT NOW, or ever, want war.. Them Chink's ain't stupid.. They said, Ah! SO!, SOooo the Russians BEAT the U.S... and don't think for a minute they don't know how we were beaten.. India has always leaned toward the socialists. They know too whos got the "power"..

Find a General that knows all this anywhere in the U.S. and I'll take my meds and become complacent and malleable again like a good republican BushBat.. fly about Count Von Bushula's head as he announces The Letter for the day is "T" and that stands for treason, and the number for the day is "0". And that indentifies all the military genius' that are on to this scheme..

We have become fixated on cheap labor rather than boarder security. Why would Mejico be happy to "export" it's better citizens? Less affluent countries have paid the price for the freedoms provided, we certainly are able as well.

[ Less affluent countries have paid the price for the freedoms provided, we certainly are able as well. ]

NO other country(other than the U.S.) in this entire world has now or ever has had any freedom..

Privileges granted by government are not freedom and they are not "rights" either.. They are merely privileges.. And it looks like the U.S. will soon have merely privileges too.. Then NO country in the world will have ANY freedom..

The difference between gov't granted privileges and "rights" and by having "rights" also freedom, is large.. The entire world is clueless. In, No country that ever existed the citizens had any "rights".. except the United States.. In the United States our rights are granted by "GOD" not the state.. if not God then WHOM.?... If there is NO GOD we'd better invent one quick.. or all our "rights" are merely gov't granted privileges.. and what we are doing is political masterbation.. deluded into thinking gov't granted privilege are "rights"..

Bush is not the President in my scenario.

Most Presidents after FDR either are absolutely and complicitly involved with the CFR agenda, or they (like Reagan and a couple of others to lesser extents) go along with as little as possible in order to try and get some good things done.

Bush has stuck it hard to the UN...but his "America's Agneda" and initiatives are right in line with what the global/international elites in the CFR envision.

As to the Chinese...it wouldn't be the first time a thing of their creation gets away from them and seeks to destroy them. I believe the Chinese have their own agenda...apart from what western styled powermongers and globalists want.

So, in the DFS, I introduced a President who wins...and then will have nothing to do with any of that...a true American. It's fiction...but it is an attempt to get a message across on many different levels.

I agree with a last ditch effort to "inspire" the un-inspirable.. And think thats your basic motive for the whole series.. not to make a buck.. or it wouldn't be so ultimately encouraging..

About the U.N.... I really think the U.N is a facade.. that another yet to be invented body will raise its head.. and all efforts to kill the U.N. is wasted effort because the U.N. is ALSO a distraction.. from some secret or yet to be divulged even invented body..

It all hinges on the U.S... Can the people be converted to Globalists or NOT.?... They can of course.. Thirty five years ago America was not nearly as socialist as it is now.. Try to find ANYONE that would turn DOWN a government check.. and the demographics show america is getting older..

Short of a revolution, I think, were screwed.. And its iffy even if there were one.. Any other attempts to fix things even partially, other than revolution, only add to the political malaise, strenghening the Globalists agenda..

Democrats might appear to be dumb and republicans autistic.. but Globalism gains strengh.. every single day of the week.. Somebody is smart thats engineering all this thats for sure.. and without a S.T.A.M.P.E.D.E.. the wolves win.. The sheep are fragmented into flocks with no shepard.. If the sheep don't stampede... they are merely the masses drunk on the opiates of religion and other kinds of drugs.. which seems to look like thats the case..

Ahhh...but there IS a Shepherd and there are yet tens of millions of Americans who recognize and follow Him. Ultimately, that will be the undoing of the globalists, socialists, tyrants and all oppressors.

That's my faith. I know it does not seem to be bolstered by strong, stupendous action amongst the citizenry...but that is the nature of people who want to just be left along to run their own lives. As the Declaration states:

"all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed"

...despite that, the framers then went on to say this

" But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security".

I believe that is still true and that time and circumstance will bring that truth to the fore in our time if these tyrants keep pushing.

In the mean time, we must all keep trying. Keep educating. Keep standing up. Keep working...and keep praying.

Just my own thoughts and inclinations on the issue.
