Remember Scott Ritter?
The Daily Cause ^ | 23 June 2005 | Yakov Bok

Remember Scott Ritter? Do you remember Scott Ritter? He was the former weapons inspector that became Saddam Hussein's shill leading up to the Iraq war. Hussein paid Ritter to visit his country and then report back to the west that Iraq wasn't a threat. Ritter then took the fast road to celebrityville by being embraced by everyone in the anti-war movement.

Well, Ritter is at it again.

This time Ritter is writing for the notorious anti-everything western Aljazeera news outlet. While Iran is ramping up its nuclear ambitions, and spreading its influence throughout the middle east, and even into Africa, Ritter has taken it upon himself to warn the muslim world about the "big bad United States" by saying the U.S. is already engaging in hostilities against the "we're not doing anything wrong" theocracy.

Ritter falls into the same trap as every other person against the War On Terror by stating: "Liberation" and the spread of "democracy" have become none-too-subtle code words within the neo-conservative cabal that formulates and executes American foreign policy today for militarism and war. If liberation and democray are not the aims of U.S. foreign policy, then just exactly what are the aims? The popular belief seems to be some sort of throw back to the days of empires and colonialism. And seeing that "neo-conservative" is a code word the far left likes to use for "Jew," I can't help but think that Ritter is playing into the old canard that Zionists are conspiring to take over the world.

Meanwhile, Iran is pursing nuclear technology to "meet energy needs " that they don't have. In early June, Iran test fired a new long range missle capable of hitting Israel, U.S. troops serving in the region, and the oil infrastructures of other countries. While Syria is reducing its influence in Lebannon, Iran is strengthening is influence through Hezzbolah. Further, Hezzbolah is now training some Hamas terrorist cells as well as partaking in the shady business of diamonds in Sierre Leone.

But in Scott Ritter's eyes, it is the U.S. the world should be worried about.

Well, Ritter is at it again.

Whew...for a moment there, thought he was trying to pick up underage girls at Burger King again.

Scott Ritter...yeah, I remember that name. Isn't he the guy who likes to eat at Burger King a lot?

It's really bad for his health - eating fast food so often. He should be more careful.

The true "neo-conservatives," none of which hold office, have anticipated this....

Maybe we should cut him some slack?

I suggest you send him a pack of Burger King coupons.
