Hugh Hewitt ^
Posted on 06/23/2005 5:06:36 PM PDT by Bratch
Hugh just said the Democrats are committed to losing the war.
He's going to play the entire exchange between Senator Kennedy and Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld and Senator Kennedy's 15 minute speech on the floor of the Senate next hour. (8-9 pm EDT.)
You can listen here.

You definitely have their number Mike. That's exactly how I see it. These people are lost without absolute power on their side. Typical of a group with no values or platform.

Many just feel that burqas have a naturally "slimming" effect on them.
If that's the case, EMK should order a truckload.

In addition, the Democrats understand that without widespread dissatisfaction with the government the American public will not turn away from it's slow tack towards the right. So they are in an absolute panic and willing to lie, cheat and steal in order to create a deep discontent about American as it stands. They must tell you everything is miserable and you need their help.
That is why it is essential that we hang together and not allow small setbacks to detour our unity. They desperately need that to happen in order to win. DO NOT LET THEM. We must win this war and we must change the courts. If today didn't teach us that, nothing will.

So now we have Kennedy on the floor of the Senate referring over and over to the "insurgency". I heard Al-Jaafari in an interview with David Gregory tonight. Gregory kept referring to the insurgency. Al-Jaafari kept saying they are terrorists. Gregory would not let go.

Yep. Rush has their number and he has a much bigger audience :)
as I have said in other threads, 06 may be the Dems high water mark or maybe their last gasp. They have been exposed and dont know it yet.

Post of the week here.
You hit on the one thing that the rats do better than us. They stick with one another no matter what.
Most of that is just a power play, I don't think they really give a hoot about one another but just the same it's an important concept. About the only thing we can learn from them.

My co-author on "Patriot's History of the U.S.," Mike Allen, has a nice article about how the Dems resemble in almost every way the Federalists in 1814: they were an elite, northeastern party, totally anti-war, and completely detached from the public.

Actually I thought that Casey's response was quite a bit more forceful than that of Rumsfeld's. To me that General was defending his soldiers as much as he was defending the policy.
Thank you for your service, Mike. I don't think that you or any of our military will ever know how proud you all make us or how grateful we are. Our young men and women in the military are our treasure and the envy of the world. God Bless.

Newspeak, double speak, Rat/talk, MSM blather, it's all major BS. But it's all part of the MSM/Left/wing/Old Media agenda. Our new media will slowly overtake them, it will just take a while.

The Democrats are anti-military, anti-American and pro-terrorist. Well, I wouldn't go as far as saying that they are "pro-terrorist".
They are just so anti-military and anti-American that they will root for anybody who is fighting our military.......even a terrorist.
It's a subtle difference but I just wanted to be absolutely fair about the issue lest they ask for an apology.

You know, I wonder if Don Rumsfeld was able to maintain a straight face when Bob Byrd said "Get off your high horse", and if so, how.

And this gin-soaked POS who should be in a jail cell has the GALL to demand Rummy resign?
To: MikeinIraq
Our troops know the difference between an insurgent and a terrorist. The troops that come back from Iraq will be spreading the word that democracy works. Hopefully that will make a huge difference.
There is no question who represents the party of Democracy and Capitalism and who represents the party of socialism and neo-communism. We should trump in 06.
