The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long

B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.

D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse -  the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.

D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.

G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located

D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives

F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.

C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.

E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

CNN correspondent Chris Lawrence was riding in the car with Natalee Holloway's mom yesterday when she received a phone call informing her of another arrest in the case of her missing daughter. "She smiled as soon as she heard the news," Lawrence told Anderson Cooper last night. "She got on the phone immediately and called her husband. And it was interesting, because he was telling her that he was watching it on TV on CNN. And she started telling her friend, who was sitting next to her, It's on CNN, it's on CNN, it's on, the arrest. And she's saying, How could it be on CNN? They're right here with us already. And obviously Karl [Penhaul] here had already gone on the air with it and let the world know that this arrest had been made."

I thought somebody had mentioned NH rented a cell phone on the island because hers didn't work there..maybe one of the Holloway party had called the number when BH was at the house Tuesday morning and she heard it ring

It is possible that one of the Holloway party including Beth had called the cell number at the time Beth H showed up at the VD home the next day after her daughter disapeared..If Beth heard a phone ring at the time she was at the VD home it could have made her suspicious..When I misplace my cell phone I call the number and listen for the ring

That's very European. My mother is Scottish and has friends who many times give her a "lift" to one place or another.

Yep, all that is or might be true. Or the arrival late just might have been because of the way the schedules worked out. I often get somewhere later than I had intended because I had to work later than expected - and I work on a military base. And, if Natalee did not want to spend any time with Joran...no matter how early or late he arrived...she would not have gone with him. I am sure, since it is reported that she is a very responsible girl, she would have said "Too late, I am going back to the hotel." and she would have left with her friends, not the 3 fellows. JMHO

I have travelled extensively also. I have heard the same warnings. But I have never heard of any teen who was not a gang member, part of drug cartel, etc. who has been an offender in such a situation. I think if that was Joran's MO, there would have been reports of other, previous times, or connections with unsavory types. He is a good looking boy, I doubt if he has to force foreign women to have a relationship. If this were his first attempt at such a move what would have been the motive? A short escapade on the beach does not seem to be worth it, IMO.

Besides, if Joran had helped Natalee win back some money she lost, (as one report from Deepak states) why would he rob her? Evidently he can make money gambling, what would a few dollars from Natalee, or any tourist mean to him? There are bad people there, so is also true throughout America. Friends of mine were in Detroit, and were robbed just outside their hotel...by a nice, white, American man and woman!! Nice people also live on the islands.

But, hey, thanks for your perspective. This is what makes FR great. We all ponder, bounce ideas back and forth, consider possibilities, and somewhere in the muddle we often come at least close to the truth. In all our summations there are probably elements of reality.

Not all of us can watch this 24/7. For instance, I still can't figure out who reported that PVDS took money out of the ATM three times between 3-3:45.

IN A CASINO BAR (not casino) - Greta said all 3 of them where in the Casino Bar "together" Sunday evening. Greta was standing in the doorway of the small side bar and pointed into the small room which is inside the Casino. It is a small room with a stand up bar with bar stools, there are no tables.

I will take a picture of it when I replay it off my tivo later in the day. (when you see how small the bar is - you will understand)

I am sure we are not going to learn about any conversations that went on, but the bar is so small that PVDS had have seen Natalee and most likely saw Joran talking to Natalee, Joran may have introduced Natalee to his father. Natalee and the father may have spoke to each other.

Police know they were all together in the bar (it would be on video tape or the barmaid saw them together in the bar) Greta would not have mentioned it if it did not happen. How involved and what happened in the bar is still a mystery.

I had taped a segment of Shep and Greta from yesterday. I watched it this morning. On it, Shep asked Greta what her plans were for the afternoon. She replied : (paraphrased) " Well, I have a plan, but I don't want to reveal it here, cause CNN will follow me ! They have been doing that. I go somewhere, and minutes later, they go to the same place "

Guess that says it all, eh?

One more thing...MY RANT....Is is just ME, or is anyone else SICK TO DEATH of every time FOX talks about a new story , they have FOX ALERT !! That really is getting to me ! I think I will send them the story about the Boy That Cried Wolf !!!

I am following this story very closely, and read every post on this forum, as well as several others.

I do not post often, because I do not know what happened to Natalee, and all the theories and speculations are just that.

We do not have enough facts to build a decent theory because of the differences in the two legal systems. Therefore, we are frustrated. All I can hope for is that Natalee's family find out what happened, and that justice is done.

our family has a tailor in birmingham - who is known by nearly everyone who's anyone in birmingham, a sort of "tailor of birmingham." as he dresses most of the affluent residents - from the infamous richard scrushy to the pastor of briarwood church (one of the largest churches in the US). he is the eyes and ears and a great source of information....

my uncle was in the tailor's shop earlier this week and got into a discussion about natalee holloway with in which the tailor told my uncle that the mayor of birmingham, who had also been by the shop earlier, informed him that the holloway family has already paid a ransom to natalee's captors, but has yet to receive her, although they are confident that officials are working to get her back very, very soon. this tailor's brother in law is originally from suriname (where the suspect brothers are from) and says that the island is a notorious port through which women are kidnapped and then shipped off to such far eastern locales as bankok and indonesia. being a native of suriname, he feels quite confident that this is exactly what happened to natalee and she is still alive.

you may already know most of this and i'm sure you have loads of emails to answer, but i thought i'd pass along whatever tips i have. i praise God for people like you who are working so hard to get the truth out. may God continue to bless you in your efforts. congrats on all of your great press thus far and please continue to keep us posted.

Greta said on her show last night that there was contact between JVDS, PVDS and Natalee in the HI Casino on Sunday night in the bar area of the casino.

I admit that I was tired last night and I must have missed that. Is there a transcript that states that PVDS was in contact with Natalee?

A couple of us are trying to find out more. It was on here somewhere yesterday I believe. I am not patient enough to go back through all the posts, whew...that would be exhausting.

If true, and if responsible for Natalee's disappearance, however, one wonders...could it be possible that someone is far away, scott free, and could care less about anyone in Aruba getting blamed for anything. Scary!

I know, that does not explain all the suspicious VdS actions...and all the other stuff. But, it also raises the possibility that, as anyone who travels, Natalee met and talked with others who were not her classmates. She is an outgoing person, and that would certainly be normal.

Rape has nothing to do with love, and good looking men do it seeking power, not romance. When I went to KU years ago, I knew a good looking guy from Aruba. Indeed, he was better looking than Joran. He told many stories about their beach parties, sex with tourists, and said he never took "no" from a woman. He was one of the wildest men I have ever met, and I don't doubt for a second he raped women. I have not lived a sheltered life having spent many years in the military with Special Ops. individuals.
