This person should be ashamed of filing this lawsuit and should be billed for ALL court costs.

It's obviously a joke and she has absolutely no legal claims to the remuneration.

This same thing happened in Chicago about 15 years ago. A late night "wacky D.J." announced that the grand prize winner would get the "keys to a new BMW". So what the winner got was just the keys to a BMW, not the whole car. The winner went to court and sued, and collected. Plus the Wacky D.J. got fired.

P.S.: Never trust a DJ who goes by the name of "Slick". You are just asking for trouble.

My call: She'll get every dime of the $100,000.

Except of course, for the one third that will go to her lawyer and the additional percent that the IRS will reap.

Sounds like an Olde Honeymooner's episode (anybody remember that show?) where Ralph inherits a Rich old ladies "Fortune". He is positive he is rich, since the only family member was some worthless nephew, and the woman adored him every day boarding the bus.

When its finally awarded to him, it turns out to be her pet parrot, named naturally, "Fortune".

Sort of reminds me of an eBay auction a few years back. When XBox first came out a lady was having great trouble getting one for her son in her area. So she bid on one on eBay. The auction was for an XBox box.

Thats right, the box the XBox came in. She paid top dollar for it. She should have read the auction description better.

Gill's lawsuit seeks the $100,000 prize and additional punitive damages.

Whats more pathetic that she is suing for the one hunderd grand or that she wants punitive damages on top of it... how sad it is when lawyers run our culture.

Personally I thinks its funny. If I was her I would probably not, but I would still not sue..
