We ought to give them one of these instead:

Man, I hate to use a Star Trek quote, but I will...

Spock: They're dying Jim...

Kirk: Let them die!

Why give them food, wouldn't it be better that they starve and desperation makes the people take on the government?

This is such a great P.R. move. Now 'IL, KIM JONG' can use his nation's funds for other more important matters, like testing his ICBMS.

Here, just tack this sucker on my back. Our leaders will be ever so greatful.

a conservative's burden

100 million pounds of food is a lot of chow. After Kim is finished eating I wonder how much will be left?

Yes, the people who approved this probably did so out of a false sense of "Compassion."

Yes, the Ronery One will misuse it.

But, it's still right: If your enemy is hungry, feed him ... in doing so, you will heap burning coals on his head.

Maybe Dubya can persuade Jimmy Carter to deliver the aid, wrapped in a package with a big red bow on top! And a note that we're sorry for not bringing it sooner.

Some deal has been struck in return for this food.

Whatever it is, I trust the North Korean dictator to honor it just until all the donated food is digested and becomes part of the country's land fills.

Of course we should feed N. Korea; after all, everyone in our country enjoys three meals a day. (Sarcasm!)

Only 50,000 tons? How stingy!

It's Bush's fault, along with Cargill and Halliburton, of course.

I think all agree that this is surreal!?

Unreal. And we are just one of several making these blackmail payments, "Feed me or I'll nuke you!"

While we are at it, why not throw in thousands of North Korea red uniforms as well?

We keep feeding these rapid dogs, sooner or later they will bite the hand that feeds them.

'Look Comrade Fatso -opps, I mean Kim, soon we will invade the South, using their own supplies.
