I've actually seen some people laughing about what he put on her grave, and praising him for it. There are some sick people in this world.
When the Schindlers had their memorial, did they make a grave? It would be comforting now to know that they did, whether or not the body (or ashes, actually) were in the plot, and that they have a marker appropriate to the situation.
Unless, of course, you count the instructions left to Mikey as found by a court of law.

Feeding tubes have been around in one form or another since Egyptian times and pretty much in their present form since the Civil War. They existed and were used fifty years ago. Unlike ventilators and heart machines, they are hardly "new" technology.
A more recent improvement has made their useage even more common. They are extremely simple, much like IV's and do not require electricity or energy of any kind to operate. In fact, they cannot honestly be characterized as machines.
Terri could have been kept alive with the assistance of the feeding tube 50 years ago as well as today.
I believe Terri was being given bolus tube feedings which is entirely done without machines, the rate of which relies on gravity and the emptying rate of the patients stomach.
In other words, if you don't receive Him (the verse is refering to Jesus), you are not one of God's children.
