Terri Schiavo's husband buried her cremated remains in a Clearwater cemetery Monday, inscribing on her bronze grave marker that ``I kept my promise.''
David Gibbs, an attorney for the woman's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, said inscribing the marker that way was a nasty political statement by Michael Schiavo, who held the service and burial Monday before telling her family.
``Obviously, that's a real shot and another unkind act toward a grieving mom and dad,'' Gibbs said.
After earlier announcing plans to bury his wife's ashes in their native Pennsylvania, Michael Schiavo instead interred them at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, near Tampa, his attorney, George Felos, said in a short news release Monday.

Sounds like hearsay to me. So it would appear that to some here, unsworn hearsay accusing Michael Schiavo of criminal acts is perfectly acceptable and believable, but the "hearsay" about Terri's desire not to be kept alive in a vegetative state, as testified to before Judge Greer, is not.
Wouldn't it have been easier and kinder to allow the nurses to BRUSH HER TEETH???
There isn't a shred of proof in what you say. Just as there isn't a shred of proof in the medical testimony that Terri suffered any abuse at the hands of MS. He became a nurse to better care for her, FGS.
And did you know that the hospital staff was thinking of getting a restraining order against him because he was so incredibly demanding of her care? The nurses talked about this at one of the many trials.
I think you need to re-research the definition of Troll. You may be thinking Newbie. Newbies with cognitive ability and life-valuing opinions are not Trolls. duh.
Everyone knows that really big fonts are more credible than tiny, tiny type.
Are you saying they never brushed her teeth?
Keen and peachie. Keen your own blades of words to cut Terri's mom to the quick, and to negate and demean the love of a mother and a father (such as me) for a daughter. When that daughter is Terri, that is.
Around my house, we call that selective amnesia.
I fail to see where your comments relate to my post.
Maybe you meant to reply to another poster?
Or logical inconsistency.
You are right. If only such large fonts could undo the murder that was done, and the murders coming.
It's very easy to become educated by observing....observing for as long as one likes. I find it disturbing that shortly after one decides to voice an opinion and make a few FRiends that they would be so invalidated by those who claim seniority.
I am not a lawmaker, nor am I a political creature. However, if my representative were to introduce a bill that sounded very reasonable and humane, I would press for him to vote for it. I would do what I could as a voter to make it happen.
As it is, I dont know who to trust, since it is apparent that no one respects law or humanity, regardless of what is or is not written on paper. That means there is something more terribly wrong than legalities.
its the same kind of issue we have with abortion. One can play with the laws all they like, but if girls are still seeking out a means to kill an innocent life because they don't want to face the consequences of their actions, then we have a problem with society's value on life. A bunch of lawyers can't change that one wit.
Oh yes. Mrs. Schindler loved her daughter so much that she testified at trial that even if Terri told them she didn't wish to live like that, they would keep her alive.
She also testified that even if Terri needed multiple amputations, she'd keep her alive.
Such love.
And then you demean someone you don't even know and have the nerve to mention THEIR family. You are despicable and a disgrace.
She's a retread.
Can you read? Do not post your vile lying crap to me again. You are way out-of-bounds, commenting on my family. There is no excuse for it, despite your lame attempts at justification. You don't have the basic human decency to apologize for it. So do not post to me again.
I have to get ready for my company...Would love to stick around but will continue this later on. Take care, and "you've got FReepmail"!...:)
PVS is disputed. And now, it always will be.
Not enough is known about the human brain to even make such a claim.
If TR were alive today, he'd say,
