What just happened in sky over Los Angeles?

About ten minutes ago, Husband in hills behind Brea, between Brea and Chino Hills, spotted in the northwest what looked like something entering the atmosphere. We grabbed binoculars, and it was extremely high altitude, coming in, not going out. Anybody see it? Can probably still spot it further north, as in Pasadena, etc. Grab binocs and look.

That's nuttin...I saw black helicopters flying upside down where I live!

The black helicopters I see in my neighborhood sometimes shoot things.

Nothing so far on the Bay area news channel I'm watching. The lead 11PM story was that the SFPD had just been called to the house of the SF Fire Chief. SHE is under investigation tonight for domestic abuse! Her hubby called the police. The Chief is a big gal. Story #2 was some members of the SFPD under investigation for providing vodka to underage girls. Just another day for the Bay area's finest.
