TAKE BACK THE MEMORIAL RALLY
Dear Families, Friends and Supporters:
For three long years we have played by the rules as set forth by Governor Pataki, Mayor Bloomberg and the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation. It got us nowhere.
We want a proper, fitting and respectful September 11th Memorial for the 3,000 innocent souls who perished that day. Not a history lesson about tolerance.
The planners of the World Trade Center Memorial have been put on notice that we are going over their heads to make our case to the American people. Please join us for a press conference to kick off our national campaign to enlist the American people in a Fight for Ground Zero. Our loved ones deserve no less.
WHAT: PRESS CONFERENCE & RALLY
WHEN: 12:00 Noon, Monday, June 20, 2005 (Please arrive at 11:45 am)
WHERE: Ground Zero at the Corner of Church & Liberty (rain or shine)
REMEMBRANCE: Please wear black or yellow to symbolize unity, or wear clothing that symbolizes your loved ones affiliation and bring a picture of your lost loved one to hold over your heart.

It's going to be fun watching them all play catchup on this.
bttt, not this time
I wish you the best of luck for a good cause!
I will try my best to be there but it is going to be tough on short notice during a busy time...thanks for the ping!
Too bad, but thanks for the bump.
Thanks so much!
Hope you can make it.
FYI............Ping
I was born in Brooklyn (1922)--came back in '47 after 5+ years WW2 service--stayed 3 weeks at my old job and left as I learned quickly you had to be a fool to pack like sardines in a subway car twice daily for the rest of your life--didn't leave anything in NYC and don't care if it and Californicator drop off into the ocean--truly sorry about the folks killed on 9/11 but it seems the survivors are getting well paid for those they lost--our troop survivors are getting 'peanuts' for their loved ones compared to the 9/11 ripoff/payoff--to each his own in these days of "crybabies and whiners"
bttt
Sorry I can't make it, BUMP!
Thanks for the heads up, firebrand. I'm presently pregnant and having some complications, so I don't think a little road trip next week is a good idea. Good luck, you guys!
Arrrgh. To late. I have a meeting in NJ at that time. Good cause though.
I will be there.
Do you realize that if the Left has its way, this hijacking will exist far into the future, propagandizing everyone who visits Ground Zero? This is a completely separate issue from benefits paid to survivors.
You mean you can't get here from Indiana? OK. Thanks for the bttt.
Would love to see you again but I know it's not easy to get here. Thanks for the bump.
Prayers for you and the baby! Hope to see you again sometime soon.
Aw shucks. Thanks for the reply.
Looking forward to meeting you.
