My neighbors used to be normal, but even today, my son came home from playing over there and said, "Lori called Cheney a criminal"

WTF? How dare she, I would never speak that way around her son.

I feel like I am living among cultists. And I'm the only one sane. It does stick with thinking Dem voters, they really believe it.

I married a woman whose Father is a died-in-the-wool Democrat and a local politician (Mayor). The entire family is blind to the clinton degeneracy and criminality and hangs upon every mischaracterization by a dem leader, swallowing some of the most astonishing lies. It is a point of great depression for me to see otherwise rational people so blind to facts because 'they want to win again'. My wife has a standing order to not discuss politics or the news with her father or brother while in her presence. They know of this order and try to bait me at every opportunity. I've taken to using quips for bullet bytes. Even my wife gets a kick out of them.

"I feel like I am living among cultists."

I used to do alot of work on local issues and was proud to be able find issues that appealed to a broad politcal spectrum.

I now find myself seldom keeping company with these obnoxious types, as the issues I once felt were important no longer are when compared with the War On Terror.
