LARGO - The long-awaited results from Terri Schiavo's autopsy will be released Wednesday morning, Pinellas County officials announced today.
The brain-damaged woman died at her Pinellas Park hospice on March 31, two weeks after the removal of her feeding tube. During the course of the legal battle, allegations surfaced that Michael Schiavo abused Terri. Those complaints had previously been dismissed in court, but the autopsy is expected to settle that question for good.
The autopsy is also expected to reveal what condition Terri was actually in when she died. Her parents insisted that she was minimally conscious, but most medical experts agreed that her apparent responses were involuntary movements.
The autopsy was performed by Dr. Jon Thogmartin, the Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner. He is expected to talk at the 11 a.m. press conference Wednesday.

Sorry about the mis-spelling of Shiavo's name in the title!

Autopsy will show she died due to loss of sustenance.

The fix is in. This medical examiner is said to have replaced an incompetent predecessor, but there will be too much pressure on him for anything else but a finding that exonerates all the other public officials in the county.

I understood that the autopsy would be unable to say that much about what condition she was in. I would think given that she was starved and dehydrated to death, it would make it especially hard to make other conclusions about her condition prior to that. She died from dehydration. We know that already.

..but the autopsy is expected to settle that question for good. Not by a long-shot. There will always be folks who say that someone was paid off if the results are not to their liking. Probably a few who are already in that mindset.

The evil that certain people brought on Terri has absolutely nothing to do with MJ's jury. There are other threads for that kind of crap.

I received an e-mail from News Max this morning that said that Mark Furman (sp) was writing a book on the case called "Silent Witness".

Her death was a direct result of Lliberalitis in the Courtesia.
We all know what the results will say, especially because there is only one person who performed the autopsy.

I read that - If anyone can get to the bottom of this it's Mark Furhman. He's a good investigator! It will be worth the read.

Huh! Autopsy will show she had severe brain damage and she died of dehydration. That won't settle anything at all.

"The autopsy was performed by Dr. Jon Thogmartin, the Pinellas-Pasco medical examiner."
And what do we expect the autopsy to state other than to exonerate the public officials and exhusband/killer of Schiavo???
The entire law-enforcement and judicial system in Pinellas County should be purged and replaced with people from out of state.

I wouldn't be surprised. Her ex-husband/murderer probably has a copy of it already and is celebrating!

I'm not sure this autopsy is going to provide much in the way of answers anyway. That's not because of any wrongdoing or incompetence on the part of the medical examiner or anyone else -- it just might be the way it is.
