My guess brothers left the car to "be a pal." Blond boy, the one who thought it swell to post a photo of himself strangulating a kid with a belt, wasn't statisfied with kissy face and went beserk. Brothers helped him dispose the body.
If the brothers are more involved, they'll stick togehter on their stories against the other.

The perp is to blame,(may he rot in hell) but there are lessons to be learned by this young girls mistakes too.

And, of course, the crimes are denied and not reported by the university...so the parents and public don't know what really goes on. The convicts were--at that time, at least--sometimes not under any supervision! They just trusted them, since these were the "good behaviour" criminals.
If she was murdered, blame the person who killed her.

Got to be her fault, she should have known death was just around the corner, just by getting in a CAR

That's the scenario I imagine happened, too. Right now I'm thinking the blond guy did it (the one whose name sounds like "urine"), and the brothers either found their conscience, or just want to be rid of the situation.

The only reason we even have heard of this case, is that we are all "enjoying" or are at least somewhat interested in this latest "dissapeared girl/woman" case. I guess the cable channels have decided that a constant state of "Bulletin Edge" is the best new strategy that sells air time, and gets ratings. So, they have staffs that scour the local news feeds, looking for just the right kidnap, dissapearences, or murder cases to pounce upon. Add to that the biggies like Michael Jackson, Robert Blake, OJ, etc. and you have 24 hours of coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The rumors are building about Date-Rape drugs? I'm in an out with FOX and the TV.
Someone said something about "Roofies" in context with such drugs . . . where have I heard that before?
You are absolutely right. We are raising kids who think life is about partying and bar hopping.

Chuck54, here are the facts, and they apply anywhere, but perhaps especially in a foreign country. Women should not be getting into cars with strangers, even one stranger, but especially THREE strangers. No one is saying it's "her fault", yet had she exhibited a modicum of common sense, she might yet be alive today. This is why people are saying these things: they hope upon hope that people take these lessons to heart, and maybe some lives will be saved in the process.
Slamming people who say these things does not help. Rather, it gives the appearance of suggesting that no one has any responsibility whatever for their own safety. That would be a horrid mistake. Even 17- or 18-year old graduates should take responsibility for their personal safety. Period.
I suspect they panicked, or they wanted to help their pal and got straightened out later. I noticed their lawyer was the first to speak out and mention there was some kissing or the like going on - then stopped the story there. LE will smoke out the story.
G- the fell down story was bizarre. I guess they had to figure a "reason" why they would have seen a security guard (black, of course) approach the girl. The story as they tell it let the imagination start with the girl in the guard's arms.
One of the stories was the guards were "fired the day before," implying some ominous reason that would lead them to killing a tourist the next day. Insane.
Your right, and their name,"something bad happening." they probably have done this before without the murder. Predatory packs cruising the bars for intoxicated female victims.I am not buying into this accident theory. If the two brothers were present when Joran(F-face) started attacking this girl why did they not stop him? Why, they are all in this murder together. What do you think Johnny7? NSNR
