Durbin blames 'right wing'
The Washington Times ^ | June10, 2005 | James G. Lakely

The No. 2 Democrat in the Senate yesterday blamed "the right wing" and elements of the press "in service to it" for repeating Howard Dean's remarks about Republicans and inflating them out of proportion.
"I think we all understand what's happening with you all," said Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin, in remarks echoing Hillary Rodham Clinton's blaming a "vast right-wing conspiracy" for her husband's legal-ethical woes.
"The right wing has got the agenda moving. Fox [News Channel] and everybody's got the agenda. It's all about Howard Dean. You've bought into it," Mr. Durbin said.

saw Matt Lauer questioning Dean about his comments etc. Even Matt was dogging him

Yes, and my favorite part of that was when Dean, in defense of his mouth, claimed that he does speak for Reid and Pelosi, whom he's "working very closely with." Then within hours, Pelosi makes a public statement that Dean does not speak for her. LOL!!

I for one am glad for the return of the VRWC. We put Monica in the Whitehouse and now we are puting words in the mouth of Howard Dean.

Don't forget that it was the VRWC that placed Dean in his current position -- or maybe it was Karl Rove.

Yep..... I was in New Orleans on business (staying at the downtown Hyatt). No Fox news on their cable. So I ended up watching a bit of the Today show. UGH....

On the questionnaire asking about my "perfect stay" as they call it.... I hand wrote in that I wouldn't stay there again unless they added Fox News to their cable lineup. :)

Sen. Barbara Boxer, California Democrat, said Republicans are out to "destroy" Mr. Dean, whose comments were "taken out of context."

This is a classic. Taken out of context! How can you take something like " I hate all republicans " and " I hate all they stand for" out of context?

Wilson asked if Dean, by making his comments about hating republicans and that all republicans were white christians, if that meant he hated white christians. Dean didn't respond. Wilson kept hammering and finally Durbin asked if he(wilson) controlled the press conference!:)

"The media wants to have some kind of a controversy, so they don't give the message of Howard Dean," she said.
RUSH: My theory is the press loves hearing this stuff about Republicans and they want it recycled and repeated and that's why they're giving it so much attention. This is what the press thinks of Republicans; this is what most Democrats thinks of Republicans. So they love having Dean say it and they keep repeating it over and over and over and that's why we deal with it here. But they're ignoring what he's saying about fixing up the party because it's boring and they've got more enmity for Republicans than they have interest in putting the party back together. It's clear to me.

Media Wants to Repeat What Dean Says
"We all know that the other side is bound and determined to hurt Howard Dean and destroy him, as they usually do with leaders of our party."

Conservatives love Dean. I can't think of a single conservative who wants to get rid of Dean, a beloved barking moonbat.

Little Dickie Durbin
Wore a bright-red turban

Full of the blood of Tommy Daschle,
Dickie acts just like Eddy Haskell

"As all of you know, there isn't a single person, whether it's any of us in this room..........that haven't misspoken," Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid,

MISSPOKEN - def. when used by a Dimocrat, usually means blatant, nauseating lie told with a straight face & unchallenged by sycophant reporters

Less common usage: as cover story for moronic foot in mouth episode that was actually reported correctly

The No. 2 Democrat in the Senate yesterday blamed "the right wing" and elements of the press "in service to it" for repeating Howard Dean's remarks about Republicans and inflating them out of proportion.

Would this be the same media that waited two weeks before "discovering" Trent Lott's comments about Strom Thurmond, which he'd repeated at many events prior to the one that caused all the outrage?

His remarks are very clear. He hates Republicans. He's a turd floating in a punch bowl and the democrats are too stupid to fish him out.
