Hooked on Phonics Worked for Kerry (Barely)- (HooAH! - "D" for "dummy" at Yale!)
CHRONWATCH.COM ^ | JUNE 9, 2005 | MATTHEW HOLMES

Even as a young scholar, John F. Kerry had nuance.

Apparently, so much so that his professors at Yale mistook him for an idiot.

At least, that’s the look of things from Kerry’s records as a college student.

As it turns out, if the Dr. Stephen Hawking Award for Genius was handed out between the two candidates in the 2004 presidential election, George W. Bush would have taken home the prize.

It seems that Kerry—the supposedly complex, intellectual giant of the 2004 presidential campaign—received four D's out of ten classes his freshman year at Yale, and an overall composite grade average that was worse than Bush’s—the man liberals constantly decry as “the dumbest man in America.”

And let’s just say that from the looks of Kerry’s college photograph, it wasn’t because young Johnny was out wowing girls at toga parties with his dashing good looks and manly physique.

On the Yale grading scale, John F. Kerry scored a 61 in geology, a 63 and 68 in two history classes, and a 69 in political science. If he’d slacked off just a tiny bit more, the F could stand for "Flunked out of Yale."

Although let’s be serious here, is there anyone familiar with Kerry's politics that is actually surprised to learn he got D's in politics and history? Anyone want to wager whether he passed or flunked the exam on The Constitution?

The only thing any less surprising is the fact that one of Kerry’s best classes was French, where he scored a whopping 77! It all makes so much sense now.

"I always told my dad that D stood for distinction," Kerry said yesterday. After a look at Kerry’s grades, the D would more appropriately stand for dopey, dimwitted, Democrat. Or, Duhhhhh…

Unfortunately, Kerry’s record of sub par achievement continued following his graduation from Yale. He went from Vietnam War protester, to lawyer, to lieutenant hovernor for Michael Dukakis, to Ted Kennedy sidekick, to failed presidential candidate.

All that’s left now for him to complete the circle of misery is a spot as DNC chairman and a job with Air America Radio. Although, you’ve got to hand it to the guy, he never stops trying!

It is now clear that liberals have nothing on President Bush anymore, what with the revelation that their best French-looking presidential nominee is still dumber than the “misunderestimated, nucular, cowboy” currently sitting in the White House. Compared to Kerry, it looks like the president got both the brains and the brawn.

Without the cornerstone of every liberal argument—that conservatives are stupid—we’re left to wonder what’s left for left-wing Democrats to bicker about.

I can hear it now: ''Well, Kerry’s wife makes more money than Mrs. Bush!''

Good Lord, but that picture is SCARY!

Where on earth did it come from? The Yale yearbook? And why did he allow them to HAVE that picture? I would have suppressed it and burned the negatives if I had to break into the yearbook office to do it . . .

I don't get the social climbing mindset.

No matter how hard you try, if you hang around with that set they will always despise you. After all, all the money in the world can't buy you a grandfather.

And given Kerry's recent and current behavior, it seems as though on some level he realizes this. What a wasted life!

Did Theresa attend college or just training to be an interpreter?

Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance languages and literature from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa , 1960. Interpreters School of the University of Geneva, 1963.

Theresa's biography is quite remarkable. A Portuguese citizen raised during Salazar's regime, she lived in Mozambique and attended college in South Africa. So she managed to live under Fascism, colonialism, and Apartheid - and benefit from all three.

When I first went to college, I was a "B" student. That is, I majored in Bridge, Booze, and Backseat Biology.

Just like Al Gore, another manufactured "intellectual" of the liberals. The father of the internet failed out of divinity school and law school, and that's just for starters.

Yep. With Kerry's looks, not bad. It's funny that the media always presents Kerry as such an athletic, handsome man but I don't know a woman anywhere who thinks he's a great looking guy. Looks aren't everything and I have no room to brag, but the media tries to make it look like women everywhere are swooning over him.

As for the gigolo part, I'll bet his family's money and social standing had a lot more to do with his success than his looks or athleticism.

Ah, yes the supposedly complex Mister Kerry.

I wondered just who could infer complexity about a man who is a predictable and compulsive blamer, whiner, pretender, and liar.

Pretty simple, n'est ce pas?

Remember after the election, he followed a reporter down Charles Street in Boston, whining "why don't they like me?"
