MILFORD. Ohio -- A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping his 7-week-old baby, News 5's Bina Roy reported.
The baby girl also has a broken leg, a broken wrist and bruises on her chest, nose and legs, Roy reported.
The baby's mother, Shannon Sorah, said her husband, Joseph Warner Sorah, admitted sexually assaulting his daughter.
"He admitted to doing it when no one was around," she said.
She said he slept next to the child's crib in another room.
"He said the reason why he wanted her to sleep in there was so I could get my sleep," she said.
Shannon Sorah said her husband had beaten her and their 2-year-old son, but she never imagined he could rape the baby.
"He's had problems. He needs help. He's sick. He's sick in a perverted way," she said through tears.
The baby's uncle, James Carpenter, said he never suspected anything.
"He's never really worked a job or anything. He's just a bum, basically. I never thought he was a child molester," Carpenter said.
Sorah was arraigned Wednesday on rape and child endangering charges and is being held in the Clermont County jail on $500,000 bond. He could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted, Roy reported.
"I don't want anything to happen to him, anything bad, but he deserves it right now," his wife said.
Milford police said they discovered the crime after two women called paramedics to examine the baby.
Paramedics and police found scarring and other signs of abuse on the infant.
A later exam later revealed the rape, police said.
The baby will be turned over to Protective Services when she recovers, Roy reported.

After he is killed over a period of weeks, with the help of a team of medical consultants who can advise the executioners on the most painful and slow methods to use, he should be fed to rats and then erased.
All records of his existence should be obliterated.
It should be as if he never was.

If ANYONE EVER beat my child, they'd be in JAIL immediately...I don't care if it was my mother, husband, sister, best friend...all other relationships go out the window if my child is in danger. How could she even consider letting him stay, live in the house, and be around her children after that?
To: MikeWUSAF
There are crimes worse that murder, and this is one of them. This animal needs to be put to sleep and his wife thrown in jail.

Just a typical NAMBLA member who went a tad too far. Um, definitely not defending this piece of sh*t or that organization by any means, but NAMBLA members are more interested in little boys, I think.

As do you Shannon, for sticking with him and having more children by him.

Shannon Sorah said her husband had beaten her and their 2-year-old son, but she never imagined he could rape the baby. This pathetic excuse for a mother is as much to blame.
So where are all those folks who insist all married folks should have children??

Yep, this is the worse thing I've ever read here.
A way of dealing with this would be to turn a guy like this loose in a room of angry fathers carrying baseball bats and straight razors. Film the whole thing, and then show the film on national tv. Everytime a guy like this is caught, repeat the process. No trial, no extended jail stay. Just a violent, painful death.
It might not stop it from happening, but it would give the public a sense of justice.

He needs to get tossed into the middle of a prison yard with a big sign hanging around his neck at says "I rape children". "I don't think that's the appropriate punishment."
To: caver
The Mother ought to be charged too since she knew he was an abuser. Exactly. She knew he was a loser from day one but decided she would have two children by him. She should get life in prison and he should get the death penalty.

It's wonderful that this mother wishes nothing really bad to happen to this piece of human debris. So, she'd really trade the protections she should feel toward her own children, to protective feelings toward this man. Hmm, I suppose that she could be called a "facilitator" in his despicable felonies toward both of her offspring.

I don't know...the one about the horrific rape of a five year old about two months ago made me want to vomit. I don't think I made it past the first sentence.
