Wow that's just amazing.
Classy ride there...
can I have the car?
Pimp my amphibious vehicle?
MONSTER GARAGE ping!!!
Lets trade some Rat congressits who love Castro for these brave people.
Whatta flashback---We built gunboats for the river fleet in veetnam using the same basic method----Building in floatation and adding high speed bows to old landing craft. If this guy had added an 80 MM mortar tube to the top he could have re-invaded Cuber. That thing might be tough enough to make the return trip. With an xtra jimmy 671 he could have outrun the Coasties.
better than any of the Monster Garage floating vehicles. Jesse James eat your heart out.
but... but... why would they want to come here???? The Democrats think Castro is wonderful and Cuba is a paradise!
I'm really sick and tired of my tax dollars being used to "intercept" these resourceful people and sink their wonderful makeshift boats. The money would be better spent welcoming them with open arms, giving them special visa status, and setting up a military base to house, train and equip them all to go take back their country. In a couple of years, there would be no more Cuba problem.
Cuba is a worthless country...so are the majority of it's inhabitants....with the exception of a few.
You gotta love these guys.
I just wish when one of the leftists starts waxing about how keen Cuba is, someone would counterpoint,
Yes, that free Cuban schooling must be great, look at all the
innovation in the field of engineering cars into boats it has born....
This has to be wrong...my friend Ed Azner assures me that Cuba is a Socialist paradise where every man is a king! Why would these people be leaving it?
Anyone that resourceful is welcome in the US, imho. Let'em in.
Weren't you supposed to turn left back there?
There is no other country in this world people will get on a rickety "CabRaft" to get to. This isn't a first...there have been floating "JeepRafts" and various other "CarRafts" from Cuba before.
In one day there's news of this and the guy from South Africa that bum rushes as a stowaway, to get here and dies in the process.
I don't think anyone is going to these extreme measures to get to France?
Holy smoke! I wonder how much the fare was!
How is it that the U.S. authorities so readily seize Cubans before they can achieve freedom by setting foot on US soil, but sit back watching while others so readily cross the Rio Grande?
