Whatta flashback---We built gunboats for the river fleet in veetnam using the same basic method----Building in floatation and adding high speed bows to old landing craft. If this guy had added an 80 MM mortar tube to the top he could have re-invaded Cuber. That thing might be tough enough to make the return trip. With an xtra jimmy 671 he could have outrun the Coasties.

I'm really sick and tired of my tax dollars being used to "intercept" these resourceful people and sink their wonderful makeshift boats. The money would be better spent welcoming them with open arms, giving them special visa status, and setting up a military base to house, train and equip them all to go take back their country. In a couple of years, there would be no more Cuba problem.
Cuba is a worthless country...so are the majority of it's inhabitants....with the exception of a few.

only if they are willing to become citizen's. I'm tired of my tax dollars going to support those who are here just to be supported by our government. They should be coming here just like my grandparents did, with money in their pocket & becoming a citizen before going to the mainland. Then finding work, which should be no problem!
