Today's FEEBLE

YOKE :

A man and his wife, who was 8 months pregnant, were shopping in crowded mall. They had been trading humorous insults for
most of the evening and the man decided that he was going to really get her. He announced in a loud voice that,

"If you don't stop insulting me I'm not going to marry you!"

He was disappointed that only a few people around them reacted but his wife managed to bring down the house when she responded,

"That's ok, I won't tell you who the father is!"

Good morning everybody!! Hope you all have a wonderful, safe and blessed day today! Our 17 year old son ( he's the one I asked all of you to pray for, as he was diagnosed with HSP Nephritis last fall...title of post was "Pray for Our Son") drove to school today for the first time, since passing his road test on Monday...even though we have two older kids who are married and have families, I was shaking in my boots...but haven't heard anything as of yet, so he must've made it there ok!

Good morning Canteeners, Cubies & Newbies! Another very warm day in the Baltimore/DC metro area is coming.....sure beats snow!! Let us not forget our military boys and what they are asked to do. Thirty years ago I was going through naval combat training at Gitmo, before the press and Rob Reiner decided it was nothing but a torture chamber. Have a fine one, everyone!!

Good morning Everyone. Good morning to our

Military, our Allies and their families.

Thank you, Spotsy for fixing pancakes for the Canteen. Today also appears to have been a very busy day in history.

Ok, we're having another hot one here today. I really, really need to be at the beach today. I've even got my spot picked out.

Spotsy, I heard you've been having a very eventful week. Is Murphy's Law happening in your life right now? Here's a little something to help out on one of your problems.

And do you need one of these to help out the "hair" situation?

To all of our newcomers and lurkers...........

TO THE

I've got to dash right now so I can get in a few howdy's before work overtakes me, again.

But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

Now remember, the Canteen is

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's alway plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

Deputies: Sheriff's patrol car stolen by ride-along guest

COMPTON, Calif. A man who had just finished a ride-along with a Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy stole the patrol car early today while it was briefly unattended and led deputies on a chase through three cities.

Twenty-year-old Steven Funderburk told Deputy Alexander Miller he was an Explorer Scout with the Long Beach Police Department and developed a good rapport with the deputy during the ride-along.

When the deputy's shift ended after one a-m, Funderburk asked to retrieve his bag from the car in the parking lot. When Miller returned to check on Funderburk, the patrol car was gone.

Miller was able to talk to Funderburk on the patrol car's radio and convince him to surrender without incident after a chase that went through Compton, Long Beach and Westminster.

The Long Beach Police Department has no record of Funderburk being an Explorer Scout there.

Thought for the day :
"Would that government spent our money like it was their own."
