Why can't they stop us? Because this is the best that they have to offer. (Kerry at Yale)

Why can't Democrats stop the Republicans? You can't stop the unstoppable.

Sen. Clinton said she stays awake at night, "thinking about all the mistakes and the wrong direction and all the bad decisions being made in Washington.

No, Hillary. You stay awake at night because blood-sucking vampires like you sleep during the day.

some Republican leaders "honestly believe they are motivated by the truth

Interesting comment.

If that is such a bad motivating factor, I’d be interested in asking Hillary what motivates her.

Hey Hillary, do you think the voters might have something to do with it?

IMHO, the answer to this question is that it is because the Dems live in this fantasy world where they (the party) are always right and anyone who opposes them are evil. The party is always more important than principal. They live in a world where the party can do no wrong, and their principals change but loyalty to the party line is always mandated.

The Republicans (citizens, not politicians)are based more in reality, standing on principal more than party. This seems a contradiction because the 'party' keeps winning, but the fact is that people look for a foundation of principal. When your principals float around, you continually alienate people. Many of my grandparent's generation don't recognize the principals of the Democrat party any more. Some stay loyal to the party, but for many, they are looking for a stability of principal, even if they don't agree with every little point.

As long as the Dems don't have a base principal (and being the 'opposition party' is not a principal), they will continue to loose support and only maintain a base of fanatics.

"I can tell you this: It's very hard to stop people who have no shame about what they're doing. It is very hard to tell people that they are making decisions that will undermine our checks and balances and constitutional system of government who don't care. It is very hard to stop people who have never been acquainted with the truth."

That sounds kind of like the Klintons' play book for getting where they are...

There has never been an administration, I don't believe in our history, more intent upon consolidating and abusing power to further their own agenda," Sen. Clinton told a "Women for Hillary" fundraiser on Monday.

Rush is right. Whatever the Democrats are guilty of, they accuse the Republicans of doing.

As reported by the New York Times, Sen. Clinton called the House of Representatives "a dictatorship of the Republican leadership," and she said some Republican leaders "honestly believe they are motivated by the truth, they are motivated by a higher calling, they are motivated by, I guess, a direct line to the heavens."

how can she expect anyone to take her seriously or respect her when she makes comments like that.

Has Clintoon lost his mind. He said "as those cannons are fired at us, we have to stand up and fight back." Who in the hell is firing crap. It's the CRATS. My only fault is the Republicans take the salvos and just don't seem to want to fire back. Clintoon really is getting crazy.

So the Republicans are elected by a majority of the voters, and then they try to follow through on their campaign promises by implementing laws that they said they would, and by appointing Judges everyone knew they would, and by sticking to their public principles...I guess that means we are trying to exert control over the governmental institutions that we now control...What exactly was the complaint? Was it that Hillary lost? I have never heard anyone say they are angry about losing in a more circuitous route...After all, it is Republicans fault that Republicans won...

Here are some other things she said:

"Now, I talk to Eleanor Roosevelt all the time, and she has never said there is any reason to only have one point of view," she said. "But apparently they have a different direct line."

Apparently Clinton thinks we should all have two points of view. But that's Kerry's platform.

If you read about her, try not to get upset - I had to read about her and it kept me upset for months," Mrs. Clinton said of Judge Brown. "This is a woman who truly sees the world in 19th century terms. You know, during the Clinton administration, we used to talk about building a bridge to the 21st century. This administration wants to build a bridge to the 19th century.

I wonder if it upset her more than finding out that Bill wasn't building a bridge all those times he told her he was busy in the oval office.

Meanwhile, she gets the century wrong, as Justice Brown wants a bridge back to the 18th century, to the original meaning of the constitution.

It is very hard to stop people who have never been acquainted with the truth." - That sounds very absolutist to me, and single-point-of-viewish to me, as does this statement: "We can't ever, ever give in to the Republican agenda," she declared. "It isn't good for New York and it isn't good for America."

Ladies and Gentlemen .. what we have here is the finest example of the "projection technique" I've seen in a long time. Hillary has just told the whole world the character of a Hillary administration.

I agree Hillary, you have no shame about any of the corrupt or illegal things you did which put America in harms way. And .. I agree I'm frustrated that you and your minions are so blind to what America is really all about; that's why you can't stop repubs - and you never will.

But .. unlike you and your minions Hillary .. we are NOT trying to erase the checks and balances (as you claim) - we're trying to restore them to what the founders of America originally planned for us to do.

These little outbursts of partisan personal destruction will not resonate with RED STATES - that's why the Hillary cabal will never control the WH or anything else in America. We won't do it overnight, but we will squash this bug of evil in our midst.

"I know it's frustrating for many of you, it's frustrating for me. Why can't the Democrats do more to stop them (Republicans)?" she asked.

Because you are not the majority. Your parties inability to stop the Republicans agenda stems from your out of the main stream leftist views. The best way to fix this is to STFU about guns and kick the gun banners out of your party. The next step would be to not be such aholes to republicans. The third would be not to be such wackos. As for what you should do now. Nothing, you lost and no one wants to see you sore losers do nothing but obstruct the wining party.
