William Donaldson announces his resignation as Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman during a press conference at the SEC in Washington, on the June 1, 2005. Donaldson said he will resign June 30 and today 2nd June 2005 the President Nominated Congressman Chris Cox to replace him

Hmmm. That is interesting. It's all perception, so neither of us will ever know who's right (if either). The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
I think both suffered from being surrounded by untrustworthy, incompetent staff members. I think that may be partly why George Bush is SOOO careful about who he picks for his VP, his cabinet, and his White House staff.
The Deep Throat revelations of the last few days have reminded me again of how important it is for a President to be surrounded by skilled individuals that can be trusted implicitly and are above reproach. And despite all the crap that gets thrown at them, and all the attempts to create 'the next Watergate,' that is exactly what he has.
In the end, I think that may be the most important piece of wisdom he brought to the Presidency. He surrounds himself with experienced, skilled, principled individuals.
Oops, better run. I see I have an important message from Prince Ola Khuni. I'm probably going to be rich. LOL.
He is wonderful. I absolutely LOVED him during the primaries. Did he say he was going to run? Or just that he's thinking about it?

Some good designers have probably been very glad to have Laura Bush -and Condi too!- after the Hildabeast. Specifically I'm thinking of those gorgeous gowns Laura wore for inaugurals and other festive occasions where she danced with W. Can you see Hitlery in any of those? lol

I refuse to watch The Factor, even for Laura. By the way, she and Lee were going off on Paris Hilton today on her radio show. It was just hysterical. She does the funniest Valley Girl I have ever heard.
