--The first conversation between Clinton and Gore after the Lewinsky story broke. Clinton is shouting at Gore, "This is a [expletive deleted] coup d'etat!" Gore just stared back blankly. pg 313.
--Former White House counter-terrorism chief Richard Clarke on the record hitting Clinton for not having the guts to fire FBI director Louis Freeh, who Clarke called a major obstacle on anti-terrorism policy. "He should have just fired Freeh and taken the [expletive deleted] it would have caused." (pg. 408)

Hmmmm?? That's interesting. Two things I didn't know .. Bush also fired all the travel people the Clintons brought to town .. and Congress repaid the legal costs.
I could not agree with you more. The man is the most despicable slime ball to ever slither out of the White House. History will not be kind to him and it should not be. The man hates his country almost as much as he loves coddling dictators who hate America.
It's also to counter the other book about all the Clinton women.
I don't have to read about it. I lived through it.
It's probably also due to the medicines he must take for his heart surgeries. Over time - when the medicines are stopped, he should be fine.

Pastor is going to read the bit to the funeral as though he were me after a preface that I asked him to do that. I think it should be an emotional and humorous thing of significant impact in several lives. Prayers for same would be great.

There was a compelling Bill Kurtis documentary a few years ago that made a very convincing argument that Weiss did not shoot long, but merely punched him, at which time Long's body guards overreacted, pumping Weiss full of lead - while one of their bullets ricochetted off the walls and hit Huey in the back.
In the end, Huey's insurance company ruled the death an 'accident' and never paid out. (The details escape my memory). It was a very interesting piece.
Long could have never beat FDR, but could certainly cut into his margin of victory if he ran as a third party (remember that FDR got 60+% of the vote in 1936 - no one was going to beat him, least of all a little Louisiana demagogue from his own party.
Yeah Bush fired them because they shouldn`t have been hired in the first place. Can you imagine this? Having a career for 32 years and all of a sudden this witch comes in, accuses you of stealing with absolutely no evidence (Hitlery accusing someone of stealing, now that`s a hoot) so she can get her cult members to take your job, and you end up blowing your life savings on legal costs so you don`t go to jail. If anyone should have gone to jail, it should have been Hitlery "hell to pay" Rotten. If I was that guy I would have sued the living freggin` crap out of that b*tch, but of course that takes money too. Congress knew what went on which is why the repaid the legal costs, but because it`s Hitlery once again she gets a pass. That psycho should have been locked up so many times it`s not funny with all the stuff she`s done. Remember that "big investigation" they said they were going to have when Hitlery 'won' the Senate race, and they found out all these pardons and deals that were done in exchange for votes? Gee, whatever happened to that one? I can remember the press conference with that lady saying they were going to investigate, and once again it`s all forgotten. So what if that one community voted 98% for Hitlery, so what if those 3 people who lived in that community had their jail sentences reduced by Bubba, hey it`s the Clintons and they can do anything they want. 98% of the people voting for a candidate is normal!
