They treated us so well when we were in the minority.

Y'see.

Their opinions should be disregarded.

Hint to California voters: If you don't want a Senator who's opinions are "disregarded," then get a new Senator.

The lack of civility is all on the Dems side. The gall of these people is unbelievable. I wish they would run a decent senator from CA against these two turkeys, would love to get them out of office.

So, the majority bottles up some of the moonbats in the committee. Nominees that Bill Clinton sent up while he was just about ready to pack his bags and go home, and these two harridans think that's the same thing

This kind of duplicitous sniveling nonsense from these two liberal ninnies isn't even worth the effort of an insulting response. So I won't.

"Instead, there appears to be a kind of disregard for the opinions of all Democratic senators."

No shite, Sherlock.

"This is a 95 percent success rate," Boxer said. "I ask the people of this country to think about what it would mean in their lives if they got 95 percent of what they wanted."

It would mean that you and all but a handful of your political bedfellows would be out of power and teaching a civics course at some community college.

I don't disregard the Democrat Senators' opinions, I just give them a 44% weighting.

I'd hate it if Ted Kennedy was giving a "Bush is Hitler" speech and then Robert Byrd was giving a "Bush is Satan" speech and then all of a sudden things got uncivil.

Same old BS... The Senate is NOT the House of Lords no matter how much Boxer, Warner, and Byrd might wish it to be. Yes, it should operate at a higher level but its "form" is not and never should be more important than its "function".

"Advice and Consent" does not mean that a minority gets to tell a majority what to do and how to do it and it sure does not mean that the President has to "consult" with a bunch on morons before he makes a decision or submits a nomination, particularly minority morons.

Hmmm ...erosion of Senate civility ...

May 22, 1856 - Republican Senator Charles Sumner was assualted and caned by Democrat Representative Preston Brooks on the floor of the Senate.

They understand it just fine. But they know they have the mainstream press 100% behind them to spread their lies and propaganda. That's how the Donk minority gets to lead around the Republicans by the nose.

Feinstein, Boxer hint at erosion of Senate civility...

...and THEY are the acid that set this erosion in motion.

Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble...

Feinstein and Boxer, both part of the Senate's Democratic minority, argued that doing away with the filibuster would create such ill feelings that the chamber would become a rancorous place ruled by passions rather than reason.

Which would change the way thing are now ... how?!

Conservative Republicans actually concern themselves with compromise with the likes of these? Push the button at your earliest convenience, Senate MAJORITY LEADER Frist!
