Many Republicans are pro-life; few Dems are. As Father Pavone said: We should limit evil (if we can't end it).

No. Many Republicans whore for pro-life votes. They're just using us the way limousine liberals use the black vote. We're outraged today, but it will be long forgotten in Nov 2006.

You wish to suffer the death of a thousand cuts, eh? We will never restore our republic until we hit rock bottom. We will hit rock bottom, in time, with the republicans in charge. I say we hit rock bottom quickly by giving victory to the rats and let them screw everything up so badly they are thrown out of office forever.

Ambrose, that's absolutely not true, I know of at least 100 people in Maricopa county that left the senate vote blank (I was one of them) so those numbers are not right.

"I have been betrayed by someone who lied to me. Voting for the third party candidate will not 'punish' them or send a message. If we had been willing to do this a while back, we may have gotten a liberal or two, but the rinos would undersatnd that we can't be taken for granted. Until we toss 'em, they'll take us for granted!"

Respectfully may I say, don't cut your nose to spite your face.

You would be sending the Republican Party the wrong message.

Imagine yourself as a Republican Party bureaucrat, who doesn't have the morals that you and I and most FReepers have, and just wants his party to win.

The Republican Party bureaucrat is going to see votes going to the more liberal guy or gal, and think that the voters want someone more liberal. They won't think that you voted for a libDem, because you are mad at the libRepublican. They just aren't that astute (apparently).

"Arlen Sphincter and Traitor Hagel are not even in this group, nor is turncoat Voinovich."

Maybe our phone calls helped turn these waverers around.

All you Ohio'ns don't forget DeWine Jr. is running in a special election in 3 weeks for a House seat.

I know all about the sins of the father, etc...but there is a need for retribution now.

I'm in the Richmond/Petersburg area.

I did not know about his involvement with CFR, but I am not surprised. I did see him on with Brit tonight. It is time for him to go. Term limits need to be put on these crooks, IMHO.

Chafee, DeWine, and Snowe need to be made object lessons next year in their respective primaries.

"Chafee, DeWine, and Snowe need to be made object lessons next year in their respective primaries."

That's right.

Even if we can get rid of a few of the RINOs, it could make a huge difference.

BTW, I love your tag line.

I just came across this link:

It surprised me that DeWine is so pro-life. So why did he want to hinder pro-lifers from becoming judges?

That's sweet.

I'm not a Republican.

I'm an American. I'm a Christian. And following afterwards I'm a conservative.

These RINO's are neither conservatives nor are they Republicans. Nor are they Patriots or they would have defended the Constitution.

Barring any of the three what we have are power grabbing Mavericks out for themselves damning the Constitution, damning their constituents, DAMNING THE PARTY THAT BROUGHT THEM THERE! I'm not a Republican but I've been a far sight more loyal than these people that supposedly represent this party!

I WILL vote them out even if it means a Democrat because these seven are worse than Democrats. Give me a principled Liberal Democrat any day over a two faced Senator staging a coup over our President and the Constitution.

That's a great idea! If enough FReepers send just $10 to Brinkman, or whatever we an afford, they'll notice.

Just sent $25 myself.

Maybe our phone calls helped turn these waverers around.

I don't think so.

Arlen Sphincter has been liberal Marxist for a long time. Remember the impeachment? There are tons of other votes that Sphincter went Marxist on.

Hagel and Voinobitch have proven that they are not Constitutionalists/conservatives either, as have many other Republican Senators.

We need to stop looking at "Rs" as "our guys". We need to look at our views, our principles and to fight for reclaiming our nation and disregard the "R" and "D" stuff, and show our outrage at all Senators who continue to move this nation into Marxist land, and that includes many more Republicans than just these ten Republicans [ 7 + 3 ].

Beats me. He and Graham need to step up and explain themselves.
